First time here, place looked nice and service was great. The food came out looking fantastic but execution not so good. The steak meat was so cheap that every single bite was full of gristle and I had to give up and spit out every piece I tried, which was about 7 or 8 bites. The meat was totally inedible. The charro beans and rice were flavorful, the fresh made tortillas yummy and the hot salsa muy excellent, so I’ll give it 3 stars and will probably try it again.

It’s a beautiful restaurant with a painted mural across several walls. The enchiladas are delicious. The barbacoa meal is pretty good. The quesadilla was a bit disappointing. Most of the beef was cartilage or dry and difficult for my children to eat.

Chips and Queso… Salsa was great, bug the Queso was watered down. Skip the Queso because it tastes like watered down cheese sauce from a can.

This restaurant is ALWAYS my go to when working in Jourdanton. The location is very convenient to my hotel and easy access to the main road. The service is great, the food is flavorfiul and reasonably priced. The margaritas are tasteful with a low price! The estiblishment is very clean, and you can see the workers and management takes great pride into their work. This restaurant will continue to be my to go spot when in town for work, they never disappoint.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The price are fair and you get large portions. Their menu is extensive and has something for everyone. Small parking lot at lunch however.

Ordered the special for 8.99 with drink. Got a large amount and it was delicious. Service was awesome got drinks and chips with in 1 minute of sitting down. Staff was friendly and fast with everything. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Normally wouldn’t share how good it was so it won’t get packed but they deserve a 5 star for everything. Thank you too the restaurant for such a great experience.

One amazing restaurant some of the best service I’ve ever had food serve so hot to your table you have to let it cool off before you can eat it and how about a rib-eye dinner for 8.99 that you and your wife can share and includes a iced tea… It’s become our favorite go-to place to meet friends

Very good experience! The place was bustling and the atmosphere was alive. The wait staff was on point and very quick to handle our table . The food I had the chicken enchilada plate and it was just the way I had anticipated my buddy had the caldo and was a bit disappointed the veggies were a bit raw. But all in all it was great and I do recommend

Rarely do I give a one star especially to small businesses because I know the effect of unfair one can have, but this place warranted it. So I took my dad out for breakfast. First off the tortilla are not homemade. No big deal, but I mean it’s supposed to be a true Mexican restaurant. That’s not a reason to give a please to lose a star. Now let’s get to the food. My dad ordered a breakfast plate pork chops well done. They sent them out. Raw. No exaggeration raw. He sent it back and the sent out the carne guisada. Cold and meat tough. I am assuming the meat was tough because the microwave didn’t heat it up all the way, but again nothing is fresh and what is fresh is raw. Now to my food I ordered the BBQ breakfast plate. Barbracoa, eggs, pataoe, beans. Potatoes tasted old and where a bit cool not the end of the world, but the barbracoa was crunchy and dry but cold again not fresh. I didn’t send it back I ate it. Worst mistake I have made. I have been sick with food poisoning ever since. This is just un called for. I recommend going to a competitor this place will legit make you sick. Again I don’t write one star reviews lightly on a small businesses but this place is not safe to eat at and if you do go just send it back if it don’t taste or look right I am very upset about being this sick from food. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Keeping up with the FAMILIA
We went in today and as soon as me and my husband took a bite of the chips we realized they were cooked in old oil they tasted rancid when I told the waitress she said she was aware of the problem because we were the second table to complain, knowing this she still served us these chips I asked her If they were cooking the rest of the food with the same oil she said I don’t know I’m just a waitress wich is fair enough so we left. Needless to say we won’t be coming back to a restaurant that is aware of the old oil they are cooking in and continue to serve the food.
