Stopped in to Mi Pueblo on a Wednesday morning for an early lunch on the road. Was looking to support a local business with authentic Mexican food, and was not disappointed. The bartender helped me right away — I asked what he recommended, and he said, “anything with pork.” I ordered the pork burrito to take in my car — it was out within 10 minutes and I was on the road again. The bathrooms and bar were spotless and freshly cleaned. The service was congenial and quick. The burrito was delicious (pictures included). One caveat for the driving diner — plan for burrito juice/grease! My sleeve was a little damp, but more than worth it. 5+ stars, Mi Pueblo!

Being from Texas on our way up the coast, we were skeptical of a Mexican restaurant. We decided to stop and weren’t disappointed. Great appetizers and salsas (make sure you buy some salsa to take home while you’re here) and the entrees were good.

Came early, its was quiet and the wait was nonexistent. Nice and cool on this hot day. The atmosphere was soothing and unrushed. The selections were plentiful and any questions i had were answered and actually helped me chose something i would have never ever considered. The burrito bowl was filled all the way to the tpp. The Chipotle chicken , tender, right amount of seasoning, vegetables were fresh, crispy, combined with the rice and beans and cheese and jabanero sauce, finished almost the whole thing by myself. The blood orange margarita was spectacular, just the right amount of tequila and blood orange, on the rocks lightly salted…perfection.

My overall experience was meh. The best part of my experience was the waiter!! He was extremely sweet and funny. The food was pretty bland, and was expensive. I asked him if they had a cheese sauce for dipping chips, and he brought out a skillet of literally just melted down cheese with no seasoning or anything, which isn’t what I wanted at all but I didn’t want to say anything. For dessert we got the fried cheesecake, which is described as two slices of cheesecake fried; they were more like a cheesecake bite, very small for $8. Overall, I don’t think I’ll be back, but I very much enjoyed the waiter(whose name I didn’t catch).

Yeah, these are some good authentic tacos. Pricing for tacos is pretty good considering everything is inflated price-wise these days. Will definitely be going back for their carnitas tacos and their medium salsa.

Had the chicken fajitas. The chicken was dry and subpar quality. The guacamole was good . The rice was good. The tortillas were most likely store bought.
