I got the you’re not from here pricing special. I ordered 4 tacos and a beer. The tacos were 850 on the menu. The 2nd beer I ordered never arrived. When I was paying my tab, it came to 1543. When I showed the menu to the waitress she said that’s an old menu and gave me a blank stare

This is a great Mexican joint for a small town! It was great food at a great price. A fun authentic Mexican feel. On top of that the service was great and if you are not limited by the hours of operation I would highly recommend!

This is a VERY small town and between this and Taco Johns, it is the best Mexican in town. Being from California, it’s really not what I would consider authentic, hence the 3 stars. The salsa, guacamole and enchilada sauces are homemade Loved the salsa, wasn’t spicy, but was flavorful. But, like most of the Nebraska Mexican resturaunts I’ve been to, the flavors were a bit mute.

I drove all the way from alliance to eat there and they were closed and there sign said they be open at 5. It was 3 o’clock so I thought I’d killed time in that tiny town for 2 hours. So I went and drank coffee for 2 hours and then I came back and they were still closed. So I waited another 20 minutes kept trying to call and nobody would ever answer. The sign did not say anything about why they weren’t there or that they were gonna be closed. Their website did not say why they were closed and there answering machine did not say why. I ways did the time drive and their 2 hours and 20 minutes there and the drive home. Next time someone recommends a place to me I will call 1st instead of Looking at their website.

Came here for breakfast when briefly in town. The Huevos Rancheros was one of the best I’ve had anywhere, and at an INCREDIBLE price (only about $6). Okay portion sizes, though maybe not quite big enough for a hard day of work, but also not so big that it will bust your diet. Good coffee. Very pleasant setting at intersection of two of the main streets/highways of town. A bit of a town gathering place – don’t be surprised if strangers say hello to you. The only downside of this place is the service does tend to be slow and sometimes feels a bit hostile.
