I have heard this location used to be dark and run down. It seems to be under different ownership. The atmosphere is clean and bright now. Food was solid, we didn’t require much while dining; still had attentive service. Pricey for this type of dinner option, lost a star for that alone.

The restaurant was impeccably clean. However, that was the only positive about our experience. Wait staff was too busy on their phones or making comments about customers to pay attention to diners needs. Food was bland and barely warm. Prices were outrageous for portion size and taste. There are much better places in the area to spend your money at. We will not return.

Great food and even better customer service. Typically you would get chips and salsa upon arrival but I told them I didn’t want any. On several different occasions a server would walk by me, noticing I was without chips and salsa, and ask me if I wanted some. Little details like that make this an excellent place.

Food and portions were great. They also have authentic options. The cheese dip is better than San Jose. The place is clean and staff are friendly. Did have an encounter with a drunk while my family were the only ones there, the staff ran him off and apologized.

Mi Rancho is one of the only Mexican restaurants I’ve been to that offers cabeza tacos and my god are they delicious. They also offer plenty of other authentic Mexican dishes that will blow you away in flavor and quality.

I think it’s changed hands again. It’s just not good. Service is bad, food is bad. I didn’t eat mine, and the server refused to take it off my ticket. I never send stuff back. Been going to this location for 20 years. Guess not anymore.
