Place has great food! All the food is fresh. The chips are out of the bag I believe not homemade. Salsa is really good. Service was good. Served on plastic plates which I don’t find as a big deal it allows them to focus on quality which they bring no doubt! Coca cola served in tall bottle delicious! Highly recommend. You have to come to Williamson road to get the real Mexican food! If you really want a real taste of Mexico come here this is the spot all the Mexican residents of Roanoke come too so u know it’s authentic!

The most authentic Mexican restaurant I have been to. This place is run by a family. Food and drinks are amazing. I felt like it was home made food. Not in a great location though. Food, people, service, hospitality, ambient the best. If you are looking for a authentic mexican food at reasonable price then dont look anywhere else..I will definitely go there again.

Hands down authentic af it is so delish. The marinated pork, chorizo, gordita, tacos everything was so good I inhaled it. Sorry, I wish I had taken more pictures but my tastebuds couldn’t wait.. homemade sauces were on point. Going back for tres leches asap

The reason I rate a two is I ordered a big plate to have some lunch which was not satisfying for me the plate name is Mi Tapatia. It consists of beef steak and chicken fajita topped with shrimps with rice and beans, small salad. The shrimps were good but the steak and chicken was to hard to eat and also needed more taste. I had to order something else and ordered the a order of tacos called Guadalajara Biria which were real good that one i did finish.

I had the pineapple Agua. It was amazing! And they have other flavors to try. My boyfriend had a shrimp burrito and he loved how he could really taste the shrimp in it. I had fajitas with four different meats chicken steak shrimp and Mexican sausage. It was amazing! I would say, honestly, the best Mexican and it was definitely authentic. Also service was seamless on our visit.

Mi Tapatia has some of the best tacos I have had, and I look forward to trying more of the menu. Today I had the tacos de barbacoa, Guadalajara style. The tortillas were orange from being fried and were the perfect level of crispy. The barbacoa was savory and just perfect. The spicy salsa on the side was the perfect addition.

Love to try new hole in the wall local places, support local people. I felt like I was in a hole in the wall literally. Bag tortilla chips and probably jar salsa. Tacos were not corn tortillas. Beer was the best thing, can’t go wrong. Sorry but won’t be back.
