Ordered the grilled chicken breasts with rice and beans. It hit the spot. The portions are HUGE! Enough to take home and eat for lunch the next day. The waitresses are sweet and very attentive. First time in jersey. Definitely coming back.

This place is good for weekday lunch as long as you have time to kill. The food comes out nice and hot and is very tasty. The service is very, um… relaxed. You ask for the check and it takes five minutes to get it, and the restaurant was not busy at the time. Also, if you’re like me and your conversational Spanish isn’t so good, you will also need to exercise patience in dealing with the language barrier. The waitress didn’t understand I needed change for a $10 bill so I could leave a tip, and the lady at the register had no idea what I was asking for either. Here’s where Google translate comes in handy: “Dos cincos, por favor.”

Wonderful staff, karaoke setup was nice. Beware that portion-control is nonexistent. 1 order of rice will get you a plate of rice that feeds about 5 people – we had to pack everything for another day because there was just so much food. But the food was prepared in a timely manner and staff was accommodating with to-go plates.

First time ordering from this restaurant and gonna be the last time. I order a picadera and a chicharrón mofongo. Instead of receiving a picadera, I got two pieces of pork chunks which were disgusting. Also, the mofongo was full of oil and the was no chicharrón on mofongo’s chicharrón. That’s crazy, spent 40 dollars and my time waiting on this delivery.

I paid 13 dollars for what’s supposedly chicharrón de pollo sin hueso. I don’t know if this is a jersey thing but in New York you get actual chunks of boneless chicken with lime. #disappointed ♀️
