The margaritas were perfect, the food was bright and tasty! Our server, Fausto, was helpful and knowledgeable. Patient, attentive – he answered our questions thoroughly and thoughtfully, suggesting items on the menu that we might enjoy. He made sure our visit was remembered for all the right reasons! We opted for outdoor seating, with a beautiful view of the river. It started to rain hard and we were getting wet despite the big, beautiful orange umbrellas, but we were quickly and expertly ushered inside to finish our meals. Service was super friendly and quick! A truly fun experience!

Wonderfully upscale Hispanic food in the Wharf. The service was impeccable, the waiter was attentive and brought everything we asked for in a timely manner with a friendly smile. The decorations were beautiful and tasteful. The layout of the restaurant gave the seating areas an intimate feel which is perfect for a date night. Even though it was a busy weekend night we were seated quickly in an area that we preferred. The food was enjoyable and well-prepared. With an expansive menu, I would recommend this place to foodies and picky eaters alike.

My wife and I decided to come to Mi Vida to meet friends for a drink. We were able to get a walk in reservation but please get reservations in advance. The ambiance is very relaxed and makes you feel welcome. We wanted to get a drink so we ended up getting a pitch of the De La Casa margarita. The serving size was about six cups but turned out to be a little more. The margarita was strong and served it’s purpose we all enjoyed it. This is the best option if you come with a group. I ordered chips and guacamole as a starter. The guacamole was a little too spicy for my wife but had great flavor. I looked through the menu and ended up ordering the Salmon Calabacitas while my wife ordered shrimp tacos. The Salmon was delicious, it’s a must try if you are in the area. They also have a pretty good brunch.

Was visiting the Wharf and wanted to grab some dinner so decided on Mi Vida. It was quite busy but worth the wait. There are many selections to choose from so we decided to try a chicken, beef, and steak dish along with a quesadilla. The food and service were good but there was a mixup with my steak order on how I wanted it cooked. The manager came over and addressed the issue which I appreciated and brought me another to my satisfaction. I definitely plan to visit again.

I had a great meal here! There is a wide variety of choices on the menu, and multiple well-stocked bars at this site. The restaurant is 3 stores tall, overlooking the water at the Wharf in DC. The host was friendly and helpful the moment I walked in the front door. I was seated quickly, greeted quickly, ordered a delicious drink, and was served a wonderful piece of salmon for my meal. I would definitely go back.

My mom and I were enjoying a day in dc and wanted a fun place to eat. We had metro-ed in but the walk from the l’Enfant stop was really not bad at all. When we walked in the restaurant was GORGEOUS and we were excited to try the food. Upon looking at the menu everything looked delicious so it was really convenient that their lunch menu had a tasting menu for $28 per person. I’ll attach pics of everything that came on the tasting menu but it was all amazing! Such a great lunch with so many choices. If you’re ordering a la cart don’t miss the beans or the carne asada tacos, both are amazing. The restaurant is also situated on the wharf surrounded by many other restaurants as well as both piers. After the hearty lunch we walked down the pier for some beautiful views. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Customer service was great and food tasted delicious. The guacamole was and drinks were even better! The way the meat tasted, you can tell it was well marinated and well seasoned. The pork shank was really good but a bit dry. Overall this place is a good spot of you want some good Mexican food and just chill out with friends. Also, the tres leches was yum yum!

Bigger establishment that welcomes larger groups down by the Wharf. I walked in during happy hour at the bar for some quick happy hour food. I got Taquitos for $6 and 2 Carne Tacos for $9. Both were satisfying. NOTE that the happy hour items are only available for dining in. I tried to get it to-go and they didn’t like that.

The food was absolutely amazing! The margaritas were made with only fresh ingredients instead of some mix! All of their cocktail syrups are made in-house. Everything is made with only the best ingredients. Ask for Sebastian-he’s the best server and will make sure your whole party is taken care of!
