The food is above average when it comes to taste. Now when it comes to price is a different ballpark. The price VS quality and quantity they have a lot of work to do. I know that there’s inflation going on but c’mon on don’t make it a luxury to eat out.

I will be fair with my review because I am a business owner myself and understand that this is a new business and there is room for improvement. With that being said I will say that the food was delicious and tastes just like food from the island itself. The service we received as a family was great and I know they that the small aspects that can be improved, will continue to get better with time because that is just how small businesses work. We will certainly be back.

Was a little sad, won’t lie. Needs a lot of work especially in the communication department since I don’t speak Spanish. On top of that food tasted very poor. Menu looked like it had potential, but was disappointing. They need to have some English communication for the people that come there. Would help with making a decision. And they will really need to up the quality of the food that is made. Till then it’s a 2 out of five.

I would Highly recommend the El Jefe. I’ve had 3 and they have been consistent and delicious. The beans and rice are delicious and generous portions. I like the take out option, it is always ready in 15 minutes and Hot To Go!

Nothing is worst than being excited to try a new place, less than 5 minutes from home and be let down. I want to be fair in my review. I ordered the pastelillo de camarones and meat one and were delicious.

Food was overpriced for extremely small portions. I stopped today for the 1st time, never again. The gauvate plate tomate slide was so thin the seeds couldn’t hold on. The rice tasteless and the pork. The yuca was raw, therefore hard. Another customers was inquiring to have their money back at the time I was waiting for my order, along with an enpanadilla de carne with barely any beef for a totalling almost $20 for a plate and a beef patty.

Great new place. This is third restaurant in the family. The food is good and a little different with a Puerto Rican flare. Service was friendly and had good suggestions from the menu. Serves breakfast from 9-5 and has a great lunch menu. Plenty of parking so bring your big rigs and your appetite.

The service and the food is exceptional. The authenticity of their recipes are spot on. I will definitely return to try many of their dishes and sandwiches. If you are in Mulberry you must try.
