Micasa Sub Shop…I apologize for the photos they do not do justice to this sammich shop. Pictured is what they call the Daddy. Roast beef, swiss, siracha mayo, lettuce, tomato and of course horseradish. As a former sub shop owner I was quite surprised at the quality of Micasa’s bread and meats. Bread baked daily, meats cut daily it was fantastic. Located in Red Bud IL it’s worth a drive to check this locally owned business out and support them.

I’ve been here twice. The sandwiches are awesome! Bread is perfect with fresh meat and toppings! Great food! Prices are good for what you get. Order ahead if you’re in a hurry, they seem to have a problem expediting orders when busy. Both times it took us 25 minutes or more to get our lunch when ordered in store. But could have just been a bad day so not judging by that. Food is excellent . Staff is friendly, price is reasonable for what you get. But order ahead or plan for a long wait time at lunch.

I usually get the daddy, which is a roast beef sandwich. Omg , the bread , meat, cheese, and vegetables are very fresh and high quality. The ladies that work here are very polite and friendly. Restaurant always kept clean. Would highly recommend to anyone either driving through town or new.

Anytime I am anywhere near RedBud Illinois I must stop and get lunch here. I sometimes even make up silly reasons just to go in their direction. The best samich place in the tri county area hands down.

The food is so good. Unfortunately, every single worked I have ever encountered here was rude and the service is always horrible. They are always “out of bread” too so good luck even getting a sandwich.
