We love to eat local and decided to give Michael’s a try on our way home from vacation. The restaurant is a fantastic space reminiscent of an old time sandwich counter. The staff was extremely friendly. The dough for the pizza and turnover (calzone) was delicious with well developed flavor. We definitely found a gem!

We did a day trip from warm springs to enjoy the town and 2 shops recommended Michael’s. I see why. Delicious hand tossed crust with a large variety of toppings. Super friendly waitress and a unique vintage reteo decor with wooden booths. Generous clean salad bar and awesome music selection straight from the 80’s. We’ll definitely be back!

I give Michael’s ZERO stars(had to pick a star to post this but they deserve NONE, in my opinion)because I have been going there for 3 years now and have always enjoyed the food and services but on 8-2-2023 I ordered 2 salads and a cheesy bread to go and was unable to eat it, so I saved it for lunch the next day. When I took the first bite I almost pucked because it was bad. The tomatoes were rotten, the cheese was bad and the lettuce was turning brown. I called and spoke to someone about the situation and was told there was nothing they could do because I didn’t call the day before. The gentleman on the phone was very rude and had horrible customer service. All I wanted was an exchange. I think anyone that pays over $10 for a salad, that is rotten, should have the right to receive an exchange or their money back. I’m very discussed and absolutely unsatisfied with the way I was treated and will NEVER step foot back in this restaurant.

We order a large pizza with 8 nice size slices. The crust had a good fluffy texture with a lot of hot stretchy cheese and a tangy sauce that tasted homemade. The waitress was also very attentive.

The place is clean. Parking is in the street so not much to say about it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They do deliver and they go pretty far out to deliver. The calzone (turnover) I got was delicious and hot. Good size for the money and it comes with the first bit of sauce included! Also got a hot ham and cheese sub. Ordered a large not sure if what I got was a large (you can see the picture) but it was very filling. I highly recommend giving this place your business.

Got the Michael’s specialty pizza once a few days ago and again today. Really good little personal pizza. Just over $10 for a 10 inch with sausage, ham, green peppers, onions, mushrooms and extra cheese. Pretty sure the dough and sauce are homemade too!

Great New York style Pizza and delicious wings. Very reasonable prices. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and my glass was never empty. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu on my next visit to Clifton Forge.

Waitress was very rude, when asked for small plates for appetizers, questioned us and said “well how many”, upon eating appetizers she came back and grabbed up plates without even asking if we were done she said “your real food is getting ready to come out. First half of steak sub was pretty good when starting to eat second half the bread was soaking wet with what looked like sauce had been on it and scraped off ” specifically said “No sauce” waitress may have had a bad day not at all welcoming.
