The best of the best! I was in the area the other day and just had to stop in. So glad I did. I started shopping here 40 years ago when I lived down the street. Nothing has changed. Still immaculate, professional staff, and the highest quality food. I wish I still lived here so I could come in often and get all of this exquisite food. Everything is perfectly fresh and delicious. Hands down the best Italian deli in Bergen County. My family have been coming to Michael’s for over 20 years. Owner Anthony is one of kind who takes his food very seriously! You will not be disappointed just remember to get to the store early if you are looking for sandwiches which are delicious his bread is deliver fresh daily and he sells out quickly. One other thing he has a restaurant in Rutherford called Suprema everything on the menu is spot on can’t forget to mention it is a BYOB! AWESOME . Continue success Anthony and never change a thing. Michael’s was highly recommended to me, and I totally get why it’s a neighborhood favorite. The guys working were super nice and helpful. They sold me on the roast beef as it’s made in house. After careful consideration I went with the roast beef with Asiago cheese, arugula, and garlic Mayo. The sandwich was a little dry, but the garlic mayo was insane. I’d drink it through a straw. The roast beef was good, but I was expecting to be wow’d and I wasn’t. Nonetheless, a tasty sandwich.

Well ! Customer service was great! It was a fast moving line with awesome help. ( always a good thing when there’s a line !! ) I ordered a few different things today. 1 being a delicious sandwich with fresh chicken & mozz cheese, arugula & balsamic glaze ! Bread pudding which was meant for after dinner but was eaten before .. also phenomenal. Lasagna, stuffed peppers, string beans & pasta salad which were all a perfect combo for dinner. Appetizer, dinner & dessert at a reasonable price.. great place to go when you’re in need of a quick bite or a planned/ unplanned dinner !! Thanks for being so kind. Can’t wait to come back in !!
