My family and I could not be more pleased with Michaels Southern Food! They catered my mothers 50th birthday party this past Saturday. Everyone left smiling and satisfied by the delicious food alone! Not only were they able to provided such exquisitely delicious food but they helped with the clean up of the party too! And they’re affordable! You simply can not lose when you use Michaels Southern Food for your catered event. 10/10 would recommend their excellent service, marvelous food, and good old fashion southern hospitality.

Southern food, cooked by nice southern people. The food was excellent, good selection for vegetarian side dishes as well. We just happened to come across this place while driving through the town. If driving by here I’ll definitely stop again for a quick bite. Highly recommended.

Great meat and three. Just what I wanted after a week of seafood on the beach. Roast beef and fried chicken was on the menu with five or six choices of vegetables. Service was great and the food was very tasty. Highly recommend this place.

I was there last Friday at 1140. They opened at 11. The signs all say all you can eat buffet. That is not the case it is a meat and 2 vegetables. Everything I had was cold and the chicken was so dry I could not finish ot due to it being too tough to eat. I drive by this place weekly and spent a month trying to stop. I can not tell you how disappointed I was. I will never go back.

Michael and his staff always treat customers great! One of our favorite Sunday lunch choices – my favorites are the pickled beets (good enough for dessert) and the mac and cheese – I don’t know how they do it, but it’s the best I’ve ever eaten.

Driving through on my way to Destin from Memphis and I stopped in for Lunch. First of all, the place is beautiful. Very old building and a lot of originality to it. I love old buildings, so I was enamored. Walked in and was informed that it was a buffet or I could order off the menu. I looked at the menu briefly, but I decided on the buffet, as it had meats and vegetables I was looking for. I could get a sandwich anywhere, although I am sure their sandwich is better than most as well. I had the Mexican chicken casserole and it was good. My veggies were cabbage and green beans, both very good. Nothing over done, great seasoning. Too many places that serve buffet do not season their vegetables enough, or at all. They had fresh made pies, so I had to try the lemonade pie. Wow. The lady working knew everyone who walked in. Very charming place and if I’m ever in Brantley again, I’m definitely stopping by.

Great hole-in-the-wall lunch spot. Probably Brantley’s best kept secret. Several choices on the meat-and-two such as chicken fingers, friend chicken, pork chops, mashed potato casserole, Mac and cheese, various greens, and of course the obligatory side of bread. Watch for hours, though: they are only open 11am-2pm

Great lunch stop! We stopped here on our way home from the beach. They had high chairs for our little one. Great veggie plate.
