Best SOUL FOOD I had in a very long time. Delicious. Nothing is canned you can taste the fresh! Yum yum yum! Peach cobbler, banana pudding, and German Chocolate are all great. We had the oxtails and the veggie plate they were definitely worth the price.

Very much enjoyed the food. I ordered to-go. The blackened salmon was divine and had a garlic sauce that was so flavorful. Fried chicken was crispy, moist and seasoned perfectly. The smothered porkchops were really tender, dressing was really good. Enjoyed the lemon pound cake & staff was very pleasant. We will definitely return for some more good homecoming.

Let’s start by saying I was already skeptical of a “southern cuisine” in the area it’s located in. I saw the many reviews and decided to go ahead over and place an order solely based on the nearly 700 reviews. Upon looking at the buffet style food I was immediately thrown off my mom and husband still decided to order. My husband got oxtails, Mac and cheese, and the creamy corn substance. My mother ordered baked chicken , creamy corn and yams. The Mac and cheese is not what southern Mac and cheese is at all! The corn I didn’t even wanna try. And the chicken was still PINK. The oxtails were greasy and charred . If you are black and know how to cook I would not recommend. I spent $53 not including a tip on to-go slop. I will never return to this place and I would advise against the many positive reviews. Staff was nice besides the male cashier who was bossing a younger server around. (The chicken is in a separate bowl because my mom is so nice she was going to attempt to cook it more so I didn’t waste money) only thing decent was the yams

This place is awesome!!! This place had a private room that we used for my God-daughter’s 14th birthday/graduation party. We were able to come in and decorate and set the tables how we wanted them to be. But our party expanded into the main Dining room of the restaurant. The servers and the entire staff were the best. They made sure everyone in our party had what we needed and cleared plates away. Checked on us the entire time we were there. Let’s just say, we shut the place down. If you love southern cuisine and love spending time with family, this is the place to go!!! I do believe Micheaux’s has now become part of our extended family!!! Thank you so much Micheaux’s for your hospitality and awesome customer service!

The food here was excellent this was My 1st time coming to the new location, I highly recommend the baked chicken. All the sides that I had were excellent as well and the customer service was very good, if you were looking for some good old fashioned Southern food in the missouri city area this is definitely your go to place.

I like their food, the new location is really nice. The owner and his son are always pleasant and engaging when you come in. The only grief I have is that when you order the oxtail you get two pieces maybe 3 depending on who there. Most places I frequent, you usually get 4 minimum and they add a ton of rice and gravy. Otherwise, I have no issues. I loved their baked chicken and their Alfredo pasta, which is one of my favorite dishes. If you haven’t been by the new place on Hwy 6, I definitely recommend it.

The food was delicious, tasted like home! I ordered the baked turkey wings, Mac ‘n cheese, collards, with jalapeño cornbread. Mr. George is very personable and joy radiates from his smile. The staff have great work ethic and work well together. I took the wings home and I glad I did because my dogs enjoyed the bones immensely!!! Thank you for a wonderful and positive experience!

Pretty good spot will definitely return fried chicken wings were excellent. Mac and cheese was good, greens were decent yams were excellent and cabbage also good seasoned well. Oxtail was extremely tender and they were a good size. Definitely didn’t feel cheated. It is just a little pricey definitely come expecting to spend around 25-35 a person.
