We liked the food at Mici. The food presentation is great. We ordered Green dragon roll, Steak and Prawn, Happy Family (shrimp, steak and scallop) and Scallop and prawns. See pictures below. The ambience is relaxing. Our waitress was friendly. In the future, we may try some of their varieties of sushi.

Mid-level, sushi and Japanese food and poor (for the area) Chinese food. No matter how many menu items I order for takeout it is always shoved into one extremely small package and comes with only one set of chopsticks. See attached image of four sushi rolls we requested to have boxed separate all in one container.

wow. let me tell you on my experience. first of all one of the lady’s was really rude. trying to push my family and i out of the restaurant because it was “closing” it closes over a hour later. i come here a lot and she is very rude to me. throwing our dishes down but we were never disrespectful and she would judge on how we ordered the food. mind you this place is quite expensive to be treated badly. and she sprayed the air freshener near our soups because we ended up tasting and watched her. she was talking in her language to the chef badly about us and how she didn’t want us here. we ended up eating within ten minutes and left before others.

I usually enjoy the sushi from this place a good bit but the last few times I have come in, there is a very rude lady at reception. Today I think she was training a new employee and she was yelling at him in front of me. My order was sitting on the table ready for pick up but it took them five minutes to confirm that I paid online before the gave me my food. Not a very pleasant encounter, may be seeking another spot for my sushi going forward.

They used to make decent food but recently the quality is not there. We have order shrimp lo mein many times and it was ok until it was not. It’s been a couple of times that when ordering take out shrimp lo mein the shrimps taste like they’re gone bad!!! It can happen once, but no. It keeps happening. Tried the chicken hibachi once and it was good, but then we order it for take out and it was way too dry. Another time we went to dine in (party of 5) and we picked a table that was not where they wanted to seat and the lady got a bad attitude. I would have left but my kids were hungry so we stayed. Overall its a hit or miss

Wanted to try and new Asian food restaurant and decided to give Mici Asian Bistro a try. I only got take out and didn’t dine in but the atmosphere seemed very nice and the staff was extremely friendly. The sushi bar looked good and the place was clean and neat. I ordered the tangerine beef and it was pretty good. The quality was good and the portion was a good amount. I would go back again

This is our local favorite restaurant in the Trumbull area. We visit usually every Friday night for either a Chinese or Japanese meal depending on the feeling. The restaurant is locatedinthe Long Hill section of Trumbull in a newly renovated building. Upon entry you are greeted by the hostess and the always happy sushi chefs. There are 5 seats at the sushi bar if you choose to watch your meal being prepared or there or numerous tables and booths. Therr is a bar located as well with seating for 6 and includes a TV for those wanting to watch your sports game. Our goto for appetizers is the sushi pizza. If you enjoy sushi this is a must try you will be a believer. If sushi is your choice the rolls are professionally prepared and the presentation is as good as the rolls taste. On a cold night I would suggest the got and sour soup, tastefully seasoned and not overly salty.
