The food is really good. But, their wait time is ridiculous. They need better time management. It’s an automatic 30 minute wait after order is made and then you’ll possibly wait 20-30 minutes minimum at the restaurant. No one should wait an hour for their food. That isn’t normal for any restaurant, they need to learn how to push dishes out quicker, deal with customers efficiently, and get through a line. I stopped eating here because I knew the wait would be so long. (However, this might be because of COVID and lack of staff)

I usually get the chicken and French toast!! It’s to die for. Waits are usually long but it’s worth it. Only thing I don’t like is everytime I go to sign my credit card slip the bartender stands over me and it’s a little awkward. Great food! Highly recommended

Warning!! Before eating here order a good hour ahead! This is a true black restaurant to a T but you gotta love it because the food is out of this world ok maybe I’m exaggerating a little bit but I’m just saying I ain’t ever had French toast taste as good as their’s did before. It was almost like a donut . Also their fried chicken is the truth! I’m not going to lie I waited almost 2 hours at the restaurant for this food and was very upset but as soon as I sat down and started eating lets just say I shut my mouth. Mick and Shirley’s definitely delivered.
