From the wall decorations to the little lamps on the table, this place was cozy and quaint with a well stocked bar and pool table. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and even suggested a few of her favorites from the German menu. Though there was a nice variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads and wraps all for less than $10 each, we were there for schnitzel and three colossal potato latkes. We got the Hunter Schnitzel which was totally worth the trip. I don’t usually enjoy sauerkraut but their apple variety was sweet but not cloyingly so. For dessert, we enjoyed the mint chocolate chip ice cream pie. The crust had to be made of crushed thin mint, so good. Already planning our return trip!

We stopped in specifically for the German menu. The food was delicious! The French onion soup was a little disappointing (broth was light and not very flavorful, and some of the onions were hard like it was part of the outer part of the onion that’s usually discarded…and I don’t mean the crunchy onion topping. That was unusual but very delicious) but overall we were happy with our meals. Very generous portions! Waitstaff friendly and accommodating. Definitely want to visit again!

Tonight was my first time going here, but it wont be my last! We began with the crabmeat stuffed mushrooms which I recommend. My boyfriend had the hunterschnitzel & I had the baked shrimp with crabmeat. (Both dishes pictured) We loved our meals! The crabmeat was fresh & had great flavor, & the greenbeans were crispy & seasoned perfectly. I tried my boyfriends spatsle?, I had never heard of it before & it was unique and tasted great! They offered a great variety of Fall beers too. Finally we tried the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert, which was homemade. The crust was made with gingersnaps and honestly it was one of the absolute best desserts I have ever had in my life. The atmosphere is calm & quaint with cute lights hung about. It made me feel like I was eating at someone’s grandma’s. I can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful meal last evening. My husband had German meal..schnitzel. I took something off there Irish menu and had the shepherd’s pie. Both of our meals were delicious, and then we top them off with a mint chocolate chip ice cream pie with a chocolate graham cracker bottom and whipped cream on the side. Very delicious. Very relaxing family atmosphere home cooked meals.

Amazing place. Great atmosphere and service. German menu food is unbelievable and the true star. Authentic and comfortable with good prices and portions. Happy hour 3-6 pm daily. Closed Mondays though! Very good place for family and those with young children. Good pool table as well, steadily maintained and a decent off the wall selection for sticks. Also has a decent pinball machine and oldstyle video touchscreen game.

Love love love this restaurant. We’ve been here twice and will definitely be going back, the food is so good, the servers are very nice and the chef always makes sure to come out and check on everyone herself which I personally love. The food is fresh and you always feel full when you leave but not weighed down like you would if you went somewhere with greasy foods. Cant wait to go back.

Lived in this area for over 40 years and never visited. What a huge mistake! Great food and service! Place has been in business 81 years! Local Jersey fresh products, the portions large and prices were inexpensive. This will become a regular stop for me now.

German restaurants are not easy to locate in the South Jersey area. That said it is well worth the trip to Mickey & Minnie’s. The food is pretty close to what one would receive in Germany. Our server knew very little about German cuisine thus the four star rating. Make the trip, they have an extensive non-German menu as well so there should be no problem keeping the group happy.

Absolutely the best local family oriented restaurant & bar. Authentic German food and drafts are not to be missed. The banana cream pie is to die for!
