Atmosphere very nice although the stacked up pizza boxes took away from otherwise a fine dining place. The server was good but with a bit of table side training would be great. Extensive menu averaged price point. Cleanliness was on point.

We ordered take out. The only reason this got 4 stars is that the veggie pizza had barely any veggies on it. It was delicious, just a little bit lacking to be called a veggie pizza.

This is a nice Italian spot. I was very impressed-The food seemed very fresh and the flavors, excellent. The Service was very good, we sat in the bar section where there are a lot of TVs and a full-service bar. We wanted to hear live music which was in the bar area. It definitely added to the ambience. Next time we’ll try sitting in the other section of the restaurant where the atmosphere seemed more like a fine dining experience. They have 2 nice patios also. We liked that there was a wide variety on the menu, including pizza. They have vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. I opted for the zucchini noodles in the shrimp linguine and it was delicious. My friend ordered the wedge salad which was huge and added shrimp. We were both very pleased with our experience and the food. There are not a ton of Italian restaurants in the Amarillo area and this one is by far the best of the ones I’ve tried.

Service was great, and it was a nice place. I rated it lower because the something in the red sauce (cayenne, perhaps?) made the sauce kinda spicy, but not in a good way, and it gave me heartburn real quick. They were nice and switched it out for fettuccine alfredo, but by then I’d already started having issues from the previous meal item. Most of us were from San Antonio and love spicy food, but whatever was making the sauce kinda hot was causing problems for all of us.

Their marinara is amazing. Some of their pasta dishes have a little too much water for my liking. Marinara for the bread comes cold and you have to ask for hot marinara. Can be slow when it’s busy.

Went for lunch. Had perfectly grilled asparagus, creamy risotto, and a huge slab of meatloaf! Complimentary cheesy bread with tomato dipping sauce and excellent service. I will definitely be back!

Cocktails, Whiskeys, Wine all VERY reasonably priced. Italian focus but something for everyone. Crab cakes appetizers quite good. The cheesy bread with marinara they placed on the table like chips at a Mexican restaurant was a nice and unexpected adder. Never been to Canyon before but this place was a pleasant surprise. Loved the vibe of the place. On the square in downtown Canyon.

Mickey’s was recommended to us by the owners of Rockwood Furniture in Canyon. Brent was our server, and he took excellent care of us. Since this was our first visit, we asked for recommendations from the menu. Brent offered several, and we ordered the Lasagna with meatballs and Mona’s Chicken Marsala. Both dishes were excellent. The sauce on the lasagna was delicious. It was not a heavy tomato base sauce but a light roasted tomato, garlic, olive oil base. The Chicken Marsala was richly flavorful as well. I believe whatever you order will be tastefully prepared, served hot and with the best attention to your requests. Can’t wait to return.
