I was surprised on how good breakfast food could be made. Everything was truly amazing. I had the southern breakfast and my wife had the crab cake sandwich, both of which we loved. The crab cake was fresh and the best we’ve ever had. The staff here are all extremely friendly, especially Lea. Highly recommend breakfast food here!

Was out for errands, wanted to try Midland! A very Charming Bistro, Beautiful Artwork! Very nice Staff and Servers! Was very hungry, I missed Breakfast! So I ordered their Bacon& Spinach Quiche, with a side salad for $12 from very nice Lunch Menu! The Bacon Quiche was fluffy and very good tasting! Midland Bistro also serves a Sunday Brunch, not sure of times, need to call! So “I’ll be Back”!

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. It was a small restaurant and our table was right in the middle of the room… so the wait staff and kitchen staff were within ear shot and always going by us to get orders. If we go back, I would ask to sit near the window or closer to the wall.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. I had the crab cakes benedict and it was very well executed. We split a half order of the lemon berry waffles and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. It’s probably a bit more of a dessert than a breakfast dish. I’ll definitely get it again though. I wish the menu was a little larger but everything we had including the coffee, was very good

Everything about this place is pretty perfect. There is something on the menu for everyone from the heavy eater to those who want something a little on the lighter side. We were on our way to a poetry reading and in need of a bite to eat when we found this place. There is seating available both inside and outside on a nice brick patio. As we waited for our food to arrive, we listened to the table next to us comment favorably on their dishes. When ours arrived, we were not disappointed; the portions were straight up Goldie Locks- not too much, not too little. I got the egg and cheese biscuit with potatoes, my daughter had a waffle, which I stole bites from-it was tasty, and my wife had what looked like a banana split for breakfast: banana cut long ways and topped with fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola. And, get this- it came with a mini bundt coffee cake topped with pecans. To look at it, you’d think it would be dense and heavy, but it was light with just the right amount of sweet. How they do that? I don’t know. Try it out for yourself. It’s worth the go.

This is one of my favorite places to go! I have always gotten the French Dip, but my last visit was during a Sunday brunch and I had a delicious Lemon Berry Waffle. I absolutely love it when I get to spend time at Midland Bistro; the quaint atmosphere and friendly staff makes me feel at home!

We had heard great things about Midland Bistro and were excited to try it out for a rare day out together. My husband’s coffee was watered down and when I asked about the Chardonnay, the server replied, “I don’t know, it’s just house.” The lobster bisque was lumpy, fishy and without any chunks of lobster. My husband’s Reuben had what appeared to be microwaved meat on it. My crab cake was ok, not particularly flavorful. We were sorely disappointed and will not be returning.
