Best tacos and quesadillas in Arizona! I’ve been searching for some good Mexican food for the past year in Phoenix. Nothing impressed me. On a recommendation from my coworker I headed down to downtown Gilbert and randomly decided to check out this taco stand. Amazing tacos. Better than what you’ll get at a nice Mexican restaurant.

I’ve come here multiple times at this point. I work in downtown Gilbert and it’s such a great and quick place to grab food before going home. If you’re gonna be in downtown, just do yourself a favor and come here for a quick bite before leaving. Carne asada is fantastic and I always get an al pastor for good measure. Sodas and water available too plus burritos and Sonoran dogs too!

Me and the husband have been making Midnight Taco date night every Friday since we discovered this place (thanks in part to the community impact article in the newspaper). The food is amazing. The service is excellent. And the music is great. The stand and the storefront are equally awesome. Can’t recommend any higher. Joyride taco used to be my first choice downtown, but no more. My first choice everytime for excellent tacos. I go with the carne asada tacos. Hubs chooses the el pastor. Nachos are great as are burritos. First choice has to be the tacos though.

Midnight Taco has the best tacos around! Great size and flavor, carne asada is delicious. The people are very nice and attentive and there is almost no wait, everything is made fresh. Excellent spot on a Friday night, highly recommend them.

My boyfriend had been raving about this place for a year and a half. We would always forget to go. Tonight I remembered they were open and I just got to say I was not disappointed! So, I am a pickyish eater with a food palette of a kid. I ordered a cheese quesadilla. GOLLY! That’s was easily the best cheese quesadilla I’ve ever had. The tortilla was perfect and not at all burned. The cheese was perfect and perfectly spread throughout the quesadilla! Totally recommend!!! My boyfriend also said his tacos were amazing but like the most important part was the cheese quesadilla!

Great reviews but walked in and a dozen(seriously!) people with long faces were waiting for food. Waited to order while server took a phone call. No food going out and slow movement in the kitchen so I left. I heard later that they ran out of something and only burritos were available. I would give them a month to figure all this out.

I visited their new location in Gilbert. This was my first time eating at this restaurant. The tacos were delicious and the staff was pleasant. I am excited to return for lunch again and again. I will be sure to tell my friends about this place.
