MidTown Ceviche Bar.. was by far some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. I was looking for a lighter choice in food at the time and stumbled across this restaurant at the Mercado District. At first I was not aware the fish in the ceviche would be raw upon order and was displeased with the texture of the raw fish. I respectfully returned with my ceviche due to the fact that I was not aware of the rawness of the fish (I should have probably asked beforehand). They explained the process in which ceviche is made, (cooked with lime, which I was already aware of) and filled me with comfort. They kindly prepared my ceviche for a bit longer and it was AMAZING!

Just amazing Peruvian Ceviche. Fresh fish and fresh ingredients. Great service. Being Peruvian I felt transported to some of the best Ceviche restaurants from back in the day like Juanito or Don Beta. Highly recommend Ceviche Limeño y Ceviche Peruano.

You may have tried this ceviche from Chef Efren before. As the chef behind Kocina & Lima 21, he now brings Midtown Ceviche inside Mercado District. This Peruvian ceviche is soooo so so good with his signature rocoto sauce. Definitely recommend you try it! It’s served with choclo (a Peruvian corn) and cancha (corn nuts) sweet potato, and garnished with a little bit of red onion and cilantro and served with a side of corn chips. I also recommend the quinoa salad! It’s a great big serving and is so delicious that you wouldn’t think it’s so healthy. The entire menu is a pretty light choice without sacrificing flavor & sustenance. Don’t forget to get the maracuya mousse (passion fruit mousse) You won’t regret it!
