Mifen101 is a Chinese restaurant chain that specializes in authentic Guizhou mifen and other popular traditional Chinese dishes.
Mifen (米粉; pronounced ‘me fen,’ which means rice noodles) is one of most popular casual meals in East & Southeast Asia. In some areas of China like the Guizhou province, it is an everyday food.
Although we are new in the Bay Area, our story started in New York City 5 years ago. To introduce more people to our delicious and high quality foods, we opened two chain restaurants in Mountain View and Union City.
Besides rice noodle, we also specializes in many popular Chinese dishes, from pulled pork sandwiches, Tsingtao dumplings, wontons, to Beijing style lamb spine hot-pot and house-made Beijing yogurt.

First time trying mifen and I loved it! I got the beef mifen, mild spice. I like how I can still taste the spice even though it’s mild. Pickled cabbage is quite sour but good. I came for lunch on a Tuesday and there was no more indoor seating but 1 table left for outdoor seating. Water comes in styrofoam cups and the wait staff is very attentive on keeping your cups filled. Free parking garage nearby.

Mifen 101 is a great spot to diversify your noodle palette. It isn’t the most spacious area, and parking can be difficult. However, going to the restaurant was worth the drive to try a rack of lamb and noodles on a cold day. Not the best spot to go again, as there are a lot of competitive noodle and soup spots that could be heartier and easier to get to. I enjoyed the experience and the presentation; I recommend trying Mifen at least once.

Hands down my favorite noodle place in the Bay Area. So happy to have discovered this restaurant. We like it so much, we come here at least 2 times a month. Our fav dishes would be the Guizhou Style Beef in Sour & Spicy Mifen soup and Beef Mifen Noodle Soup. Can’t forget about their apps: pickled cucumber salad and Tofu skin salad. Staff members are always friendly and helpful. 100% recommend

Given that the restaurant is in downtown ,it’s expected a little bit of crowded here. The rice noodles tasted good , not too spicy or sour. Overall, it’s a fine choice for lunch.

My favorite noodle soup place in the bay area. The food is delicious, prices are very reasonable and their service is THE BEST! I do recommend arriving early, otherwise there could be a long line (just like any other great restaurants in the bay area).

This place is always good, it’s my third time coming back, I always order a rice noodle, my husband always orders the huo shao plus cucumber salad lol he said their cucumber salad is the best among so many places he’s tried. Next time I will order a mild spicy on mine I think the spicy may overpower a little bit and covering its original flavor 🙂

Living in mountain View and having this tiny crazy crowded awesome restaurant is blissful.. I luvd their noodle soup, and cucumber salad Comes with great flavor. . thick and rich in taste..Everytime you come you see people are waiting in queue to dine-in.
