I love their sushi here. This is the best sushi place on pahoa side. They are super nice and their food is always fresh and delicious. The food presentation is always beautiful too, even if it is in a to go container. My favorites are the temakis and the vegetable futomaki as well as their summer rolls.

My Favorite dish at mighty sushi is Oyakudon, or Oyakodon and the chicken tempura or shrimp tempura spicy roll. My daughter loves the Tekka ahi sushi. They know what I like and I can always depend on them too make me an amazing dinner on the nights when I get home from work late and I’m too tired to cook dinner. I’ll call them on my way home, order my favorites, and they come out to my car when it’s ready. Mighty sushi is a really good sushi restaurant in pahoa, we must order and support our local businesses if we want them to stick around!

The food quality is really poor. I do not mean to be rude as I’m sure the owners are wonderful but, if I’m being honest, you’d be better off going to get gas station sushi because the price does not match the quality and taste that you get. I ended up just tossing pretty much the whole order because by the time I got to try the food, the shop had closed.

Their beautiful young son was so incredible kind (maybe 7 or 8). He was quick to serve us and was extremely kind! Such a kind, pure, lovable soul. He is also so fluid with his motions, like a majestic magic wizard, casting a spell! You can tell he is dedicated to his art. You can tell he grew up mastering the craft of sushi. beautiful beast of nature I hope he still is as kind and nice as he was before!

Very affordable and absolutely delicious every time. I recommend that you review the menu pick what you want and order at the front desk, expecting to be waited on by a server is not the way to go. Family owned and operated definitely worth the visit. Every time the food has been served in speedy fashion, and again absolutely delicious. Authentic Japanese food, I would say best sushi on the island
