This is one of those spots that’s hiding out in rural Kentucky that only locals know about. We stopped in and were surprised by the quality of the food and the taste. The salsa served in most Mexican restaurants is on the bland side and needs to have Pico to fix it. Right off the bat noticed the salsa was different. Very good flavors, chips were house-style. Nothing special. I had the ground beef chimichanga and it was excellent. The seasoning reminds me of a place back home in California. Red sauce only no cheese sauce or what Kentucky people call queso. Con Queso means “with cheese”. it’s not a sauce. STOP. Steph had the shredded beef tamales with what we think was their enchilada sauce. Excellent again. No queso, shredded cheese is OK but again, not a sauce. All and all we will be back.. very good..

Food is good. Service makes it a one star. We stopped going there for months, because of the service. It’s just that it’s right down the street from us. The food is a three star. Maybe four. The service is a one star. Half a star. If u don’t mind waiting for it refills. If u get any. Basically. Someone brings your food, and, chips, and salsa. Your on your own after that. Go there and you will see.

Great food and friendly staff! We visited during an extremely packed night, there wasn’t an empty table in the entire restaurant. The staff was amazing, they handled the volume of customers with style and efficiency. The food was great, the drinks are great! One of the best places to eat in Hardinsburg by far. Thanks Miguels!

Absolutely love this restaurant. I go there quite often, I’ve become a regular. Never disappointed. If I had been I’d not be going back that’s for sure. So if ur in the area be sure to stop by for lunch or dinner. My fav is the fajitas Jalisco mix.
