Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood.
In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather.
Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day at all of our Miguel’s Jr. locations.

A little chili in your stores. But I’m in love with your food. So, we get it to eat out. I don’t care for the Espinoza sauce. But everyone has their favorite and non favorite items to eat. Staff is amazing in lake Elsinore. Your new store for a couple of years.

Let me start with saying how much my family loves Miguel’s Jr., however, on more than one occasion our quality of food from this location has fallen short. This evening my husband picked up food for our family. The taco salad we order had bad lettuce. Appears that the refrigeration is getting to cold and freezing the lettuce. It was see thru and wilted, and tastes awful. I drove the 15 miles back to the restaurant to get a new salad. I explained the problem with the lettuce. They apologized and asked to make a new one. I said yes, but not if all the lettuce is having the same problem. When my new salad was ready, it unfortunately had the same problem. I requested a different meal, and to speak with a manager to resolve the lettuce problem. They made a new meal, but I was told the manager was on break.

Normally I love the food here and only real problem has been that sometimes they seem to be very understaffed and takes like 20mins to get through the drive through with 3 people ahead of you. Although today I ordered my typical Garbage burrito with pork, but today I got a nice little surprise… Halfway through the burrito I bit into a leaf, so I spit it out and was like that’s weird but oh well, couple more bites later find another one. Opened it up and those were the only ones, but like come on thats just ridiculous…

the staff at this location are simply top notch! theyre always friendly and work as fast as they can to get orders out. the kitchen staff is absolutely amazing with how quickly they can prepare orders as well! i do have to give a special shoutout to Sasha for always being so sweet and kind! she’s one of the reasons i go as frequently as i do. the staff at this location deserves the world and more! thank you for always making my day a little better with your horchatas <3

Great place, very clean, helpful staff, and great food. There is no fish on the menu, and the only jalapenos come as a side. For Mexican in the style I grew up with, this place is spot on. Even my picky son will eat here thanks to the bean and cheese burrito or the quesadilla.

It all started with bad service when ordering. We ordered to go and got home to find out they missed half our order. We had to drive back to pick up what they missed and they didn’t offer anything for the gas and time even though they screwed up. Won’t go back to this location.

This was mine and my husband’s first time at this Miguel’s Jr. location and we were so impressed with the customer service! Addison greeted us and took our order. She was very warm and friendly!
