10 out of 10! If you want some good home cooking with a ton of flavor this is the place to go! Mike walked us over the the buffet and explained everything that was up there! DO NOT SLEEP ON THE BANANA PUDDING! Start with desert if you have to! That is hands down the best banana pudding I have had in years! And the potatoe salad is TO DIE FOR! Everything on the buffet was hot and juicy like it had just been cooked! The whole place was very clean and everyone was so nice! We will definitely be eating here again very soon!

This place is some of the best home cooking that you can find! I just got the lunch buffet and everything was very good. The fried chicken, and the smoked chicken, we’re both so good. For the chicken to be out on any buffet you’d expect maybe a little dryness, nope. Not dry whatsoever and still crispy as if it was just fried. The greens are some of the best I’ve had outside of my own or my my Nana’s. The people there are the nicest and it’ll make you feel like you just left your Nana’s house. Highly recommend! Even if you’re travelling down the interstate, it is not that far off and absolutely worth the stop!

Truly one of a kind!! We enjoyed the lunch buffet which gives you everything you could want: Ribs, smoked chicken, mac & cheese, collards, fried chicken, cobbler, pie, etc. ALL MADE FROM SCRATCH. Can’t speak highly enough of this hidden gem!! It is well worth it to take the detour from your travels. Guaranteed to leave you full and happy!!

We visited for take out. They have the buffet 12.00 to go. The ribs and chicken were great! I wasn’t a fan of the mac & cheese but I’m really picky, my husband really enjoyed. Great dining area and wonderfully friendly staff. We will be back. Loved they saved a seat for our fallen military. ❤ #forevergrateful

Found this place on accident working on the area one day. Easily the best greens I’ve ever had. The Ribs(they deserve to be capitalized) were incredible, sadly, I ate too much to make it to the banana pudding. The buffet was amazing and service was fantastic. It is unnatural for this place to not be full of people. So glad I stopped by, no doubt you will find this hidden gem exceeding your soul food standards.

We literally stumbled upon this place after a trip to Mobile from Jackson. This place is awesome! Cooper was very nice and informative, We will definitely come back for the Friday seafood buffet. Oh bet you didn’t know that this place is a byob establishment! Love it!

I ate there last week during the seafood buffet. The seafood tastes like it was all frozen and prebatttered. The shrimp had very hard ends in them that I almost couldn’t bite through. The oysters were just mush and had a very strong flavor that oysters get when they are not fresh and the fish as rubbery. The corn was a very dark brown color and when asked about it I was told that corn just does that when you keep cooking it down and the taste and texture were as such that it was probably recycled corn from a number of days on the buffet. The cabbage in the coleslaw was brown and turned into a soft mush. The sauce in the coleslaw however was fantastic and I believe on flesh cabbage would have been wonderful. The saving grace were the ribs. They were very good, had a great Smokey flavor and cooked beautifully. The max and cheese also was very good. When we got there right at noon there were only 2 other people there and the food on the buffet was full and didn’t appear to have been eaten out of much so I fear they are reusing things longer than they should. Fresh seafood and no reheating veggies every day would make a huge difference.
