This was my family’s first visit, and we tried the Sunday lunch buffet today. The chicken fried steak and pot roast were fantastic! The sides–especially the broccoli cheese casserole–were great too. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the macaroni and cheese. But, that’s probably just me. ‍♂️ The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. And the coconut pie I ordered for dessert was delicious. Everything was reasonably priced too. I can’t wait to try their barbecue the next time I pass through Dayton. Thanks for a great lunch today, Mike’s!

I’ve heard about this place for years and finally decided to try it out. We went on a Tuesday for the buffet and although the selection wasn’t near what you’d see at Golden Corral every thing I tried was actually tasted great!! I had chicken fried steak, hamburger steak, catfish and sides. Very much what you’d expect for a old small town family run style restaurant as far as atmosphere and decor. Will definitely go back…

I’ve always had a good experience coming here. Mike the owner is a great cook with good recipes. I suggest if you want comfort food… This is the place. It’s kind of hidden.. But I’m sure you’ll be able to smell the good BBQ. Check them out…I promise you won’t be disappointed. They deserve ten stars.
