Enjoyed my pastrami in a pleasant atmosphere. It’s good to have in maple lawn and i would return, although it’s not quite a new york deli. The potato lake is not traditional- more of a potato pancake or perhaps it’s made in a food processor – there no grated potato. Meat is thin sliced if that’s your style and there’s plenty… not sure if it made in house. Service was 20 minutes before anything appeared on the table so a bit on the slow side. I am glad they are nearby.

My wife and I went there for my birthday lunch and had a fantastic, first-time experience! I grew up in New York and, while maybe not an expert, I do think that I know what makes a good quality deli! in the spirit of putting the bottom line up front, this place is fantastic!!

What a great New York style deli! My family and I were thrilled to enjoy some of the many great, generous and tasty offerings from Mikey & Mel’s Deli. Not a bad spot to grab a bite. My friend enjoyed the pickle bar, but not quite my thing. Atmosphere was good and they have Jewish cuisine zodiac signs, which got a chuckle out of me as well as made me curious to try some new dishes.

We had lunch here today; our first time. Hope was very helpful with the menu. I’m from NY and have worked at Greek diners. This place was amazing. I was waiting for Larry and Jeff to walk in and order a Whitefish Sandwich. Thank you. We will be back for sure. It felt like “Home” to me.

Highly recommended. Even on a busy day, didn’t wait long for a table for 3. Food came surprisingly quickly! Enjoyed the sandwich (not quite NYC deli sized but nicely oversized), great chips, good pasta salad, acceptable potato salad. Add on the $2 pickle bar! Try the giant Chocolate Brownie Hamantashen. Easy to find, plenty of parking, friendly service!
