The food was amazing. The only thing keeping me from giving this place five stars is the fact that I had takeout and did not eat inside the establishment. I would recommend this place if you are looking for sushi in Ann arbor or just need a nice place to sit down and have a meal.

Overall, this was a good restaurant! Lots of sushi options. The ramen was good, but didn’t really pack a lot of flavor. We added Chilli oil to it to help.

Sushi was so good! Highly recommend the flower blossom roll (it’s the one with strawberries on it). Quinn gave us excellent service!

I tried this place for the first time and I was not very happy with how we were welcomed. The person that seated us was not welcoming at all as if he was forced to be there. That’s the first impression of the place and it was not a very good one.

Good spot for a quick Japanese in Ann Arbour. Our server, Quinn, was amazing. He was so attentive and prompt. We had the shrimp tempura with vegetables which was very nice. Yellow tail ponzu was not the best. The salad and miso starters were very good. The chicken in the bento box was very dry. The beef noodles was good. Chicken yakitori was ok.

Bento was good. Ramen was bellow average. The waiter was really nice and kept checking to see if we needed anything.

The most creative Japanese style cuisine. The food is great. The restrooms are very clean. The owner is friendly and came to our table to discuss our choices. He shared with us how some items were created and good sake to pair. We ordered the Chef’s Surprise for lunch. When we took another person back for dinner a week later we wanted that again but it was a lunch special. We ordered something, don’t remember the name but it translates into: “I trust you” and really you have no idea what you’re going to get so it is comparable to Chef’s Surprise. Still incredibly delicious. The Chef’s Surprise was $19 for lunch and the “I Trust You” was $35. It was available for higher dollar amounts and we were told the more expensive included more premium cuts and items. Took pics of the appetizers and entrees. Prepare for a deluge.

Live locally and visit Ann Arbor a couple times a month and I’m upset I haven’t visited sooner. Long time fan of Sushi when I traveled around the US and several visits to Japan. I was very impressed with the quality of the food! We had one of the “boats” and every item was perfect. Sushi Rice can vary and is really an important part of the dish. Miki has it absolutely perfect. As you can see in the picture, there’s quite a good variety in this boat. Would definitely recommend and will visit again!
