I have to eat here every time I visit Houston. One time I drove from Fort Worth just to eat for the weekend. The food is always on point. The staff is always friendly and fast. We’ve been going here since the day it opened with Jeanette(RIH)when she had open-mic nights on Fridays and I’d performed both spoken-word and rapp;) we love this place and the staff all together is so amazing. We’ve tried absolutely ALL of the dishes and many of the desserts, and every single one is superbly delicious indeed and the prices can’t be best!!!

Holy Mary Mother of God!!!!!! What in the actual heck is going on here!?!! THIS PLACE IS AMMMMMAAAZZIIINNGGGG!!! I’m literally crying while I’m eating this place is SO DAMN GOOD!!!! We came to Houston for a meeting and had dinner at our favorite Loch Bar but our client recommended this place on our way out and !!!!! I’m obsessed TEN STARS IS DESERVED HERE! And the staff…they were all so sweet and patient because we honestly couldn’t decide! Thank You Sweet Baby Jesus for this wonderful food!!!

This place was amazing. Great service and delicious food!! They also give out HUGE plates. When you arrive you’re in a line and you choose which plate you want with the main course and sides. I got the oxtails plate with rice, collard greens and green beans. THE OXTAILS ARE HUGE!!! They also got frozen drinks… imma have to get one next time. Great place!!

Food: I had a craving for a traditional New Year dinner with chitterlings, black eyed peas, cabbage & cornbread. I also had a side of Mac and cheese which was average. You could tell the chitterlings were thoroughly cleaned. I did however think the pricing was definitely pricey for the dish ($35) for this particular dish.

Trash! Came in and the person making plates was very very rude and unfriendly as if she did not want to be there was told that there was no more fish as you guys were about to close so picked a couple pieces of fish to do a dinner once we got down the line the fish mysteriously disappeared and then chicken was requested only to get home and find a piece of chicken and a piece of fish was in this plates call numerous times nobody answered the phone. It was $30 totally wasted and I would never return!
