Everyone knows that this is one of the best places for sandwiches in NYC. However, what surprised me with how fast the service was! I was in and out of the place in under 20 minutes, during the lunchtime rush-hour on a Tuesday. $15 for what was of course an incredible chicken Caesar wrap.

You need to order a sandwich when you visit this place, they have so many options that it took me some time to decide what to order. I ordered the H13 on the menu its brisket of beef and pastrami it was really good but also very greasy because of all that meat. My personal favorite was the H8, it was leg of lamb meat with melted pepper jack cheese, tomato, hot pepper and mayo! Highly recommend. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the sandwiches but I will definitely return for that lamb sandwich and take pictures next time.

Do not buy anything that includes Roast beef. I’m not even sure if this weird thing was a real beef. The meat is obviously tainted. I threw up in my car. Weird smell, weird taste, unnecessary too much unseazoned beef. Disgusting Couldnt eat for the rest of the day. 18$ wasted

Very cool market with tons of Italian sourced groceries such as boxed pastas, sauces, oils, crackers, cookies, etc along with a large selection of already prepared hot food and a deli. The prices were fair. My grilled chicken breast, however, was dry and under seasoned. The macaroni tuna was okay. The Brussels sprouts were very forgettable and could have used a bit more seasoning. The almost hour wait in line was not worth it. There were visible flies on the food. Maybe their deli sandwiches are better, but I would only get groceries from here again and not hot food.
