Stopped by this wonderful diner to grab some breakfast for lunch during a road trip from the beach. They were closing at 2 pm, and I asked if they could still seat us since we got there at about 1:40pm, and we didn’t want to keep them there until after close. The hostess was very friendly and gladly seated us. Our waitress was amazing! She was upbeat, friendly, kind, and provided exceptional service! The food was super tasty, cooked exactly how we wanted it and a good price. We each ordered a waffle. One with a side of sausage and one with a side of bacon. Coffee was great as well! If we’re passing near there again, we’ll definitely be returning!

The quality of food you receive is definitely not worth the price. I ordered scrapple and could not eat it due to the fact that it was barely fried it was just mush like they sat it on the flat top for 2.57 seconds and flipped it and set it on my plate, the scrambled eggs were not fully cooked as my first bite left me with slime in my mouth. Our Waitress however was super friendly.

I stopped at this diner with family while in the area for a baby shower. Breakfast was very good. I had an omelette with green pepper, onion, mushroom and cheddar cheese. It came with hash browns and toast. The entire party was very happy with our meal.

Wow! We stopped here on our way out of town after a week’s vacation at Slaughter Beach. The staff were amazingly friendly — as were the customers! Everyone kept saying hi to me like they knew me. (As we were preparing to leave I learned it was because everyone thought I looked familiar!) The food was not your typical diner fare … . The corned beef hash was prepared on the premises with fresh corned beef and peppers and onions. It was the best I have ever had (kudos to the chef who came out to thank me). Oh, and the buttermilk biscuits were perfection. Yummy all around. And my 21 year old and 22 year old cleared their plates. A big hit with the entire family. And we will be back — especially since everyone seems to know me!!!! Roberta

When I lived down here I used to go there for my lunch hour. They serve the usual diner fare but it’s very good. Sometimes, you go for the show. I was having my usual lunch when this guy a few tables up stands up and starts yodeling. He finishes and the entire diner breaks out in applause. The waitress was preparing to seat a table and asked them without missing a beat if they preferred yodeling or non yodeling. Dinner with a show. Made the meal taste better somehow. Back to the food, I never had any negative issues and everything was perfectly cooked. Recommended.

Went here before and had great food and great service!! I was excited to return but was quickly underwhelmed. They have changed the menu and now everything is a la carte so my breakfast ended up costing 16.95 and trust me the food was not worth it!
