Food was really good but the service was sub-par at best. It took a very long time to get our drinks, our food, our to go plates and our receipt. Our waitress was just not attentive at all. The restaurant was not busy either. It was in the evening and only about 3 other customers with 3 waitresses working. If the service was better I would have given it 4 or 5 stars.

I enjoyed the shrimp and grits! I usually don’t like grits but this place made it extremely seasoned and smooth. It was a generous portion as well! I also got their signature milk and honey iced latte and thought it was smooth and not to strong or sweet of a coffee.

This was my first time coming to this restaurant and I was quite impressed. The decor and vibe are really warm & friendly. The staff was down-to-earth and we were seated quickly. Our server, Earl, was excellent! He was attentive, kind, and personable. Our food was brought out quickly and he gave us some great recommendations, which we took him up on. My friends & I shared the shrimp and grits, rumchata soaked French toast, & the country scramble. We also tried the mimosa flight, which was recommended by Earl. It was delicious. Our favorite was the lavender mimosa. Milk & Honey did not disappoint. 10/10 recommend! I’ll be bringing my husband back here soon! 🙂

The food was amazing, and somehow, the service was even better! Our server, the bar staff, and the chef were fun, friendly, and professional. I had the fried green tomatoes with shrimp in some magical sauce to start. Then I had the crab cakes Benedict on BISCUITS! Genius! I followed that up with the most delicious French toast I’ve ever had. While I ended up taking a lot of food home (I just couldn’t decide) I ate my fill in the love atmosphere of the dining area with fun music that was not too loud. Also, the sweet tea tasted like it was made much further south. I recommend Milk & Honey to anyone with working taste buds!

Discovered this place for a quick happy hour while staying in Sterling for couple days for business.

The food here was so good. Had Jambalaya, chicken and biscuits, and bourbon wings. All were fantastic. Didn’t care for the juice shooter flight, but who cares. Awesome southern food.

Very happy to see a breakfast/brunch spot open up in Ashburn. Decided to try it out with my friend and I’m glad we did.

I traveled to DMV due to my cousin graduating from American University. I visited one of my friends that live in Sterling and we went to Milk and Honey Café in Ashburn. They told us we would have to wait 45 minutes but we got a text after 15 minutes saying our table was ready. We had good service and the food was amazing. I got the Catfish and Cheese Grits. My friend got the French Toast and 3 wings. They didn’t have any cocktail sauce or tartar sauce. That was the only thing missing. Milk and Honey Café is a great restaurant! I will definitely go back.

There are few meals that I have had in my lifetime that are so good, the memories of which crowd my dreams and waking moments. Milk & Honey Cafe in Ashburn provided one of these meals. My food bae and bff met with the absolute intention of becoming so uncomfortably full, we would need to be carted out of the restaurant and we did just that. For starters, the cafe is super cute, busy but clean and well staffed. Our server was extremely quick to get our drinks and the first round of appetizers (which didn’t last long enough to be captured by camera, but I HIGHLY recommend the wings with hot honey and lemon pepper mix!!). Cocktails were fantastic, and a bit dangerous, because it would be so easy to sip on them all day. Without shame we ordered the strawberry biscuits next, then the rumchata French toast, catfish and grits and the smothered chicken biscuit. That first bite of the deep fried (that’s right!) strawberry biscuit was the single most happiest thing that has happened to me in a restaurant. I have had dreams about them since!!! The catfish and grits were the star of the savory options. The fish was so light, despite being breaded and fried. The icing on the cake, WAS the icing on the chocolate cake. It was less sweet than typical with the perfect balance of bitter dark chocolate and moist, delicious cake. We have already made plans to return and I hope it becomes a regular stop.
