This is one of the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. The salty shrimp and sausages go great with grits. It has so much flavor with perfect texture. The honey biscuits were also so tasty! Buttery biscuit glazed with honey. Bread pudding was also good!! Service was great! Even though it wasn’t crazy busy, they made sure everything was okay. The place it self is so cute, so modern, not too crowded. It was just overall so perfect. I would recommend to anyone who loves southern food. I absolutely love southern food!!

This is my first time stopping in to eat. Friendly staff. The atmosphere felt like the club and a food court. The music was so loud it was hard to order and talk with others. It didn’t have an inviting feel or the charming feel that I was expecting. It almost felt like they served their food to rush everyone out the door. I ordered to dine in and even paid for a tip but didn’t realized that it will come in a to go container, a self serve drink station and plastic utensils. No one came to check to make sure if I needed anything. So definitely not the southern hospitality I was looking for for such an expensive menu. Food was ok. I ordered a fried chicken pasta. Somewhat on the salty side but they were able to accommodate due to my shellfish allergies. Sweet tea was good. But someone needs to come by and clean the drink despenser area because the counter was wet. The food took some time to come out but I wasn’t in a rush. The menu is expensive. I cannot imagine kids getting off of school and being able to afford food from here. My plate cost $23 and my whole order cost almost $30. Definitely wouldn’t be a place that I can come every day for lunch.

This is one of those restaurants that will stay in business for over 100 years because they’re doing everything RIGHT. The recipes are out of this world unbelievably good. It’s the little things when you’re dining, like receiving enough napkins, a spotless restaurant/bathroom, not having to ask for the plastic wear and offering free refills. The music was so good I didn’t want to leave! If you’re ordering to go, all you have to do is step up to the kiosk, order and pay right there. This is my new favorite restaurant!

I went to this place for a brunch with my wife, and the experience was alright. They do this self-serve thing like as if you are at a food court. You order your food at the counter and then just sit yourself. We ordered shrimp and grits and fried chicken salad. The salad was decent, and the chicken on it was very nicely fried. My shrimp and grits was very delicious, but I would suggest to use sun dried(or oven roasted) tomatoes rather than fresh cherry tomatoes. The dish can feel very heavy towards the end since there are a lot of butter and cheese in the grits, and I see that they wanted to remedy that with some acidity from the cherry tomatoes, but fresh cherry tomatoes just don’t have the acidity to do the job well(or maybe the ones i had was not in season). The items on the menu are around 20 dollars per dish here. ( my shrimp and grits was $22) If you want to spend a little less you could get sandwiches/salads for around 10-15 dollars. All the dish was presented in carry out boxes, so you can take them out easily if you can’t finish. Overall a decent spot for some southern American food!

We waited a while for our food. This place was very busy. The man at the counter was very patient and answered all of our questions. Service is good for such a busy place and they seem very patient and kind. We received our food well after a lot of other people have received their food and our chicken sandwich was barely warm. The Hot honey and lemon pepper chicken sandwich was good except for it being room temperature. The field green salad with salmon was okay. It was served with strawberries which were cut in half and all the stems left on them. They could have removed the stems. The salad was supposed to be a bed of field greens but instead it was a bed of spinach. The salmon was slightly overcooked. The scrambled egg with American cheese was overdone in my opinion. The deep fried biscuit strawberry shortcake was delicious. It can benefit from more of the drizzle on top of it so that it can taste a little sweeter.

The atmosphere was great we went there and it was no line and only a few people inside. We got the Rumchata French Toast, Shrimp PO’Boy, Chicken and Sweet Potato Waffles, and some sides. The food was okay, good, not great! I would go back, though, to try something else. My biggest issue, though, was NO PLATES OR SILVERWARE. Next time, I will need to bring my own plates and silverware or take it to go. Also, the Rumchata french toast could have been better, and the chicken needed some more seasoning. Will I go back?Yes. The music they played well we were eating was excellent

I have now eaten here twice and both times the food has been AMAZING. There’s a very relaxed vibe, with very kind waitstaff. I’ve had the chicken and sweet potato waffles and the chicken and biscuits. I highly recommend both. The cajun creme is flavorful without being overly spicy. The chicken is the same, flavorful and moist.

Just wow. We were passing by and randomly stopped in, and was so glad we did! The food was well worth the price. Hearty portion, perfect seasoning and balance of flavors. Tastes like it came straight out of grandma’s kitchen. I tried the salmon hash and bread pudding. They were fantastic! Can’t rave about this place enough. It’s a hidden gem. We will definitely be coming back with friends and family!

This is the third Milk and Honey location that I’ve tried and I think this one is my favorite! I had the Rum Chata French toast with a side of Turkey sausage and my dad had the catfish and grits. The service was good and it was a really chill environment on a Monday afternoon. I’ll definitely be back!
