Stopped in on Friday night. When we got there around 8 the place was empty, but all the bartenders were very pleasant. There were some questionable clientele early on. But as the music came on the band was excellent and a lot more middle aged couples came in as the night went on mixed with a younger crowd. All in all a solid stop. Just keep an eye on the guys going in and out smoking out front. Typical pub food, seems more of a drinking spot.

For a Saturday night, they were . The food was fresh. I ordered it for pick up so navigating the pick up was a tad difficult. The steak and cheese egg rolls were to die for. The turkey club was enormous. I would highly recommend.

Giving TWO stars for the food, however that is about all that this restaurant has going for it. Customer service is subpar at best and when you make special requests on menu items, they often go ignored or lackluster at best. I have never dined in, I have only done takeout, however I won’t be dining in nor will I be doing take out. There is a fantastic place right down the street that you can get much better food for a much better price and far better customer service.

Mill City Pub is an excellent addition to the bar and restaurant scene in Fitchburg. Priding themselves on an impressive tap list and food menu, they offer delicious food such as mac n’ cheese with ritz crackers and Doritos sprinkled on top (pictured). There are about 20 beers and ciders on tap from both local and far away microbreweries. They offer a calm atmosphere with a rustic, industrial-era feel, with old postcards and paintings of Fitchburg on the wall and underneath the glass of the bar. Parking is ample. They have a stage which they plan to use for various events, such as bands and comedians. We met one of the owners, Mr. Cordio, and he was pleasant, kind, and welcoming. Our server (a manager) was Samantha, and she was attentive and informative about the beers, menu, and restaurant. I hope that this establishment continues to thrive and provide Fitchburg with another excellent location to grab a drink and food.
