I’m not kidding, this is the best place for burgers in the Appleton/Green Bay Area. We have tried so many places in both areas and, hands down, Mill City Pub is #1. Amazing and tentative service, especially at the bar. Cozy, low key but classy atmosphere with exceptional daily/nightly menu features. Our new favorite place in the area. We’ve been here multiple times, I always get their soup of the day and “An Okay Burger”. But it’s not just an okay burger, it’s a fantastic burger. Melts in your mouth. Bartended made me a special drink off the menu based on what I like. It was awesome.

When I stopped in, they were pretty much full, and I had to sit and eat at the bar while I was there. It seem that quite a few tables were clearing out, but they were definitely busy. It was quite difficult to find parking. The overall outside impression of the building is very misleading to the high-end, and in my opinion, luxurious interior it was a really nice environment to be dining in. I had cheese curds as an appetizer. They were absolutely phenomenal. Actually, the best cheese curds I’ve ever had I would go there just for those my entrée was the Wagyu mushroom and swiss burger absolutely phenomenal again. I would highly recommend the Wego burgers there and for dessert I had chocolate and powdered sugar beignets. For drinks, I started out with a whiskey, old-fashioned before the appetizer. It was kind of bland I would probably not get one there again I feel for the price they could step up their game on something as common as a whiskey, old fashion at the price point they’re charging the second mink string I had was quite nice, and about what I expected for what I paid. And I finish the whiskey old fashion pretty quick and he didn’t even ask if I wanted a second drink for quite a while. I’m not sure why he wasn’t overly busy at the time and I was definitely ready to get a second one of some kind right away, overall I will definitely be going back the food and atmosphere are amazing and make up for any shortcomings even though the place is pricey, I feel outside of the drinks you’re definitely getting what you’re paying for and look forward to going there again if you’ve never been there, I would definitely recommend stopping in

Mill City is a super cool place for that gastro pub type of vibe and fare. We definitely enjoyed the street corn tater tots for our appetizer. My double smashed burger was great, too. I selected tots as my side. Yeah, doubled up on tots, my dude… The special was a tasty brisket sandwich undoubtedly prepared in their smoker out back. Of course, there’s a great craft beer and drink selection available. The service and atmosphere are also top-notch. Can’t wait to go back. Best restaurant in Appleton. Mussels and tots is the best menu item. All the appetizers are excellent. Try the bacon jam burger. The craft cocktails are good but a little sweet for my taste. Service is always great. Would recommend to anyone!

Stopped here after work based on word of mouth. The drinks were great like the black Himalayan salted rimmed passion fruit margarita! Yum! The street corn tots were good and we also ordered some double smash burgers. One was the bacon cheeseburger and the other a mushroom Swiss. The bacon itself on my burger was out of this world good. I do think the meat itself needed some flavor. Some burgers I’ve had just hit me with that wow this meat is amazing! This one didn’t do that for me. Toppings were great tho. Next time getting the cheese curds and spicy Korean chicken sandwich. The best part was the fact that they had Bob Ross on tv.

Definitely my new favorite restaurant to go to. Consistently amazing service and food whether you go with a group of 2 or 10. If you’re a fan of burgers- this is a must try. While the menu is on the smaller side you can tell they really put a lot of love and care into making each menu item amazing. The street tots are always a fan fave, and you can’t go wrong with any of the specials (especially if it includes any smoked meat like chicken or brisket). The place can fill up fast (and they don’t do reservations after 6) so definitely show up early, and you can enjoy a drink at the bar while you wait.

Impeccable vibes, fantastic food and drinks. Menu has a smaller, but mighty selection. Bob Ross and Bon Appétit were playing in the bar area which made for a superior dining experience. Could not recommend this place more.
