I’ve been here now for 2 birthday dinners. It is beautiful inside and a great place for a celebration. They have valet and street parking. There are gender neutral single stalls. The appetizers have all been good but I love the steak tartare. Cocktails are great. Wine section is good. Tomahawk cooked well. I love a dessert cart.

I was not sure what to expect. Been to Wayfarer Tavern several times and always enjoy it. But M & L is over the top. The art deco decor is incredible, the dark smokey sexy style of the bar is incredible! The drinks were solid and made well. Our table was 30 minutes late, and they treated us to a round of Champagne and some appetizers at the bar as we waited, total class act.

Had a fabulous dinner here. Was visiting from out of town and found this place last minute based on reviews. We initially planned on another restaurant but Miller & Lux was open until 10 while the other place was closing at 9. We got there about 8:40 on a Thursday night with no reservation but was immediately accommodated. What a treat we were in for. The service was suburb. We got champagne & several cocktails each. The Caesar salad which is made table side. What a fun thing to watch. Very fresh. For entrees we got the French Dover Sole that is flown in 3 times a week and finished table side. And the filet. Which was cooked perfectly medium. Both entrees were fabulous. The truffle fries could have used a little more truffle (I looooove truffle) but still good nonetheless! For dessert we had a lemon tart that was yummy too. Definitely will visit this place again if we’re in San Francisco again. It’s not a huge place, very intimate setting. Everyone was so so nice. I hate I can’t remember our waiters name but he was absolutely wonderful!
