We absolutely hands down love, love love this place and it’s new owners. We are so glad we took a job in Lafayette, that brought us here to rediscover the new and improved Millie’s. What’s not to love? I’ve never tried so so many different items on a menu and wanted to repeat all of them, but these guys really got it together! And, the personalities of the owners only add to the scrumptious eating experience making it a no-brainer on where to go for breakfast, and, yes, lunch too! This place can do no wrong! From the peanut butter French toast with bananas (Elvis would of really liked this one), to the amazing crispy huervos ranchos (like I’ve never had prepared before), to the bountiful Cobb and other salads, I’m in heaven eating there. My sweetheart really likes the pancakes with melted chocolate, and the non greasy, fresh, and tasty club sandwich, amongst other menu items. Even so, not all restaurants with great food also pull off perfect service, and these guys do! From Aimee’s beaming smile and ever-ready row of pink pens on her apron when they promptly bring you your tab, to Victor’s no delay in getting you seated, putting your order in, and bringing you refills on drinks, 5 stars is too few of stars for rating these guys! We feel blessed that we rediscovered Millie’s American Kitchen in Lafayette and strongly encourage you to check it out as well! In my life, I’ll love them more!

We had a great breakfast at Millie’s today. We got there a little early on a Sunday morning and we’re seated right away with our choice of inside or outside. Our service was friendly and prompt. Food was delicious and came out pretty quickly too. I had their steak omelette (it has its own unique name which I can’t remember) and my wife had the marscapone french toast. Portions were generous and we left feeling more than satisfied. They’ve added a method to pay via QR code when you get your bill which makes it super convenient! Will be back soon!

I’ve been going to Millie’s since I was like 10 years old and I’m very glad to see not much has changed and what has is only an improvement. Coffee cake is still legendary. Better coffee I think and a great vibe. Let’s go Millies hell yeah let’s go.

What a trip back into time! This was a regular spot for me to eat breakfast almost 40 years ago! The building is the same but renovated inside and a new outside patio. New ownership has taken over and updated the food and the interior. The two breakfasts were good and the coffees were excellent. I recommend this place for a casual meal – nothing extraordinary!

Service was slow but food delicious. Part of the parking lot is steep and treacherous— while dining, some other car crashed into the wall while trying to park on the hilly incline. Park on the street or in the front of the lot if you can—avoid the hilly back lot.

Well let me put it this way, the food was good, not great. The service was good, not great. The prices were crazy, not great. Four of us with regular breakfasts one OJ and three coffees $108 with tip! Excuse me, what? There was no vibe. It’s a pretty plain little diner. Best news is it’s not a chain restaurant. Just didn’t feel welcome.

New ownership? New tables chairs paint and menu… that wasn’t corned beef hash. What happened to the Santa Fe scramble… fortunately the coffee cake was the same great coffee cake! Lastly, if you roll in to get a table and an older grey haired gentlemen coldly tells you to wait outside to be seated, it’s OK, I understand that’s the new owner
