Oh my goodness, what a wonderful surprise. Home cooked meatloaf, green beans and mashed potatoes!! Freshly made pork skins as an appetizer. This should’ve been a Sunday evening after church meal. Just delicious. Our waitress was in point to, very knowledgeable and caring that our meal was correct. Definitely will return.

This is a locals place. The cooking is like you get at home, simple but delicious. The buffet is $20. It’s small but worth it. Instead of tons of options, you get better food. There were 8 veggies and 5 meats. The meats were brisket (yes, real brisket at a buffet), BBQ chicken, pork loin, and roast beef. When the brisket eventually ran out they replaced it with meatloaf.

Went to eat valentines dinner here last night with my wife and another couple.What a disappointing disaster! Absolutely terrible service and treatment by the owner. We order and after a long wait. When the meals arrive there are only 3! They messed the order up and did not bring my wife’s meal! Can’t wait for it to be cooked and sent out. Took forever to get the first meals they would all get cold by the time another meal was prepared. So I tell her we can share mine. But when I cut the filet and it’s way over cooked. And the shrimp taste like it was Mrs Paul’s rewarmed. So we decide to just talk while the other couple eats (there meals were fine) and we will get something elsewhere after we leave. But after awhile the owner comes to the table and asks about ordering dessert and we tell him we have not even eaten a meal yet. So we will pass. He asked and we explained the situation. And honestly we were not rude at all. But he gets nasty and actually went to the point that he cussed me.I believe it was the comment about my steak being over cooked that set him off. ( turns out he cooked it) Never have I ever experienced a restaurant owner be so unhinged. Needless to say his cussing started a very loud argument with me and afterwards we left. Needless to say we won’t ever go back. I should have asked around before I went. Since this happened other folks tell me this is not the first time this treatment has happened there. In short don’t waste your time going here.

What a wonderful place. Friendly atmosphere, excellent food, and a casual but attractive atmosphere. The prime rib and catfish were cooked to perfection. My husband said he had never had baked catfish and was impressed with the taste and homemade tartar sauce. I have had prime rib twice the price and half as good. Cooked perfectly and so tender. Didn’t try desserts because we were stuffed. Portions are very generous. We will be back!

The staff will make you feel like you are their most important customer even if it’s you first time visiting. They have a nice selection of draft beers. Last time I went got a Buffalo chicken flat bread and loved it. Will be back soon…
