Not for the claustrophobic. Milon must have the highest occupancy per square foot in the city (county?). Further, there’s a general grubby feel to the place. On the plus side, the food is actually pretty good and a real value. While not for everyone, the gaudy display of hundreds (thousands?) of multi-colored lights is a sight to behold.

I LOVE EVERYTHING HERE. Our Waiter was Very nice, and the atmosphere was fantastic! This is one of the last places of Indian row, (a row of fantastic Indian food and atmosphere) so if you are in Manhattan try this.

Most surreal dining experience I’ve ever had. Was here for a large birthday dinner and the whole staff was so awesome and really made the dinner special. Food was very good and the waiter took an amazing video of the table. At the end of the dinner, they gave the birthday girl a gift! It was wild and loved it. Would recommended over and over again.

Here before a couple years ago, when it wasn’t so crowded and the food was much better. They opened up the cafe on the right side and the tables are so close together. It’s impossible to even pass without someone backing up because only one person can fit in between tables. And that is iffy as one customer accidentally knocked some food off my plate. Much too crowded and chaotic. I don’t think I would have minded except that the food wasn’t very good. Maybe it was just an off night? The best part about this restaurant is the crazy lights everywhere and that was fun. Definitely a tourist thing.

It’s three south Asian food places together in one building. The other side was full of people so we went into Milon. It’s a nice place with all Christmas lights set up inside for the whole year. It took time to get the food but good food.

This is the restaurant located on the left side top floor of the building. Closed due to COVID and now re opened by the owners of the neighboring top right restaurant Panna II. The place is tightly organized and the decorations really put you in the mood for a little culinary trip to India. Service is good and friendly. The indian food is great. Bring your own alcoholic drinks. At this time cash ONLY. You might notice some competition from the two other establishments at the lower level, I didn’t try them out yet.

What an incredible lunch special feast. 6 courses, $12 after tip and tax. Superb service. Atmosphere can’t be beat. I ate wholesome and nourishing food. Not greasy or overly salty. A rare delight for a restaurant with these prices.

Milon is a place to have fun and nothing more or less. This place has a very tight seating with lots of light hanging from the ceiling. You will find lot of young crowd here. The food in below average but super cheap. It’s a BYOB place so good to hang around and chill. It gets crowded very fast. Owners are kind and helpful.

My brother recommended this place to us on our long lay over in the area. The place is very tiny and it was packet and many people were still waiting outside for their turn. The decorations is what makes the place very unique. With lots of colorful lights, flowers and world flags. Inside the place is very small and very loud. They don’t serve alcohol, but they allow ppl to bring their own drinks, so you will see ppl standing their with their beer packs and wine bottles. The service is fast and the food is very delicious. If your in New York, you have to make a quick stop at this place. Reservation ahead of time is needed.
