Despite a huge birthday party happening in the Sunday Brunch room, we were greeted upon arrival and seated right away. Waiter was attentive. Food was done in a very reasonable wait time, and well worth it! Burgers are 1/2 pound and plenty of choices of topping or buns. Coleslaw was excellent. Corner table gave a view if the Mississippi just down a block. Pictured are the Bacon Bourbon Burger ona pretzel bun with cottage fries (only complaint is the fries were not done) and the Southwest BBQ Melt on Sourdough with Coleslaw (both excellent) I would highly recommend stopping in for a bite!

Very friendly staff and the food was delicious. It was an old building just on the iowa side of the great old Mississippi River and you could feel the history of the place in the atmosphere. Even my little chiweenie service dog Patches felt so comfortable there that he almost fell asleep at my feet while my mom and I ate. Looking forward to seeing them next year if we go back to sunrise orchards again.

Very friendly staff & tons of great options on the menu. Had 2 different meals here during our stay in Lansing and both were equally tasty. Highly recommend the catfish. They only had 1 draft option for beer but several cans & bottles available. Would also recommend the whiskey sour old fashioned for a mixed drink.

Just fine for what it is. 🙂 Buffet food was mostly hot, salad bar food was fresh. They were out of multiple menu items, which took a whole star since they didn’t have any of my top three menu preferences, forcing me to get the buffet. Low key environment with friendly staff and local banter. Nothing exceptionally delicious, but that’s not what you expect going to a seafood buffet. Recommend as a warm place to get fine food.

We were visiting the area and decided to give this place a try. We were glad we did! The service and the food were fantastic! Our waiter, as he referred to himself “Dan the man” takes pride in his job and ensuring customer satisfaction. He had such an infectious laugh and positive personality. We had four in our group and all ordered something different. They food was prompt and seriously delicious. I am so glad we took a chance on this place.
