Was recommended to try this place out by a local while I visited the city on a trip- what a great spot to try wonderful Italian while listening to classic piano ballads all evening long. This is the kind of place you see in the movies, the small Italian place on the street corner that the couple goes to on a date. The wait staff were all extremely friendly, and eager to assist you. The food was classic Italian and served hot and quick. I would absolutely come back next time I’m in the city. I would like to sit at the piano bar so I could talk to the singer like I saw several people do during my visit.

Incredibly rude staff. Don’t waste your money. We got up and left.

I have been away from NYC for several months. I was missing Baked Clams and this was one of my Go To places before. They were super heavy on bread crumbs and overbaked We had pasta and the cheesy bread which was good. The piano player was super fun and all in all, still dig this place.

Okay this is a gem. Great Italian food, family-style. And la familia shows up to..

Decent food, decent service. Nothing super special, but good taste. The marinara sauce is a little watery. The servers seemed nice. Kind of dead 5-6pm, probably livens up as the night continues.

Solid service. Attentive waiters. Bolognese sauce was good. We had chicken Francese and shrimp scampi both were good. TERRIFIC atmosphere. Piano player was singing Billy Joel songs and people sung along!

I love this place for the atmosphere and the staff. Traditional Italian vibe with lot of regulars always coming here. It’s always fun every night. The food is good and the best is they serve until very late. We ate at 3 am on Saturday 🙂 Don’t miss Chicken delicious, very interesting show and very different. The bartender is awesome. My favorites are lasagna, hot antipasto, minestrone and cappuccino.

The food was fine, or just ok. The service was extremely slow. The music was loud, louder, the loudest! Especially when a guy (if he was a guest, don’t let him shout and jump around next time, or if he was a professional singer, fire him) started yelling something like a song. I think the crowd applauded, just bc he finally stopped screaming. No go for me.

Delicious food, excellent service! Italian plus piano bar, what else could you ask for? Dominick and Star are most welcoming at the bar, they make you feel right at home. Definitely will be back!
