Lovely little bakery. Served hot food and baked goods. The prosciutto quiche was perfect to get a cold morning started. Coffee was free with food purchase and so was tea. Mimi served us a muffin with blackberry while we waited for the quiche. That muffin had so much fruit and it was made with cornmeal that was cooked to perfection. She let us have it for free because of the fallen off top but it doesn’t take away the deliciousness one bit.

Truth be told, Escalante is lacking in eaterie’s. However Mimi’s was definitely an unexpected treasure. They close early so I suggest you go get your fresh salads, sandwiches and pastries before your hike. Authentic and traditional European pastries that Mimi bakes herself. The outdoor eating area was interesting and eclectic and we will definitely be back to Mimi’s

I got married in Escalante last weekend and originally called Mimi’s Bakery for a single cake. After a few weeks of conversation, I ended up having her cater almost all of our food. Mimi went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and to make sure everyone had plenty of food! We ordered breakfast (muffins & croissants), a fruit platter, a veggie platter, a deli platter, and 3 small cakes and she did not disappoint! We cannot recommend her enough! She is so easy to work with and all of her food is DELICIOUS! So thank you again, Mimi, for everything!

Doesn’t actually exist. Just a couple of very small $14 wrapped sandwiches and a smattering of nice looking baked goods in a cooler at Griffin’s grocery store

This is not a bakery. This is a small fridge filled with premade sandwiches. I was looking for coffee and some fresh sandwiches. This was not it lol. Good luck

The blueberry muffin was great!!! My husband had the chocolate chip scone and said it was also great! Worth going there for the pleasant service and great coffee that is free with the purchase of any food items. I would go again and the menus looked good for sandwiches too. Their quiche is supposed to be excellent but got mesmerized by the muffin.

My friends and I stopped in at Mimis right before heading out for a hike. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious and the baked goods are some of the best I’ve had. Not to mention Mimi and Ed are some of the funniest and kindest people!! We loved joking around with them and talking about the state of our country. They sent us with some extras for our road trip and truly made our day. We haven’t stopped talking about these lovely people ever since! Probably our favorite people that we’ve met on our road trip so far. I hope one day I grow up to be like Mimi and Ed!
