The food here is soooo good! Authentic & homemade dishes. I’ve been here a number of times with my family and we have never had a meal that we didn’t love. The atmosphere is beautiful as well, it’s so clean and comfy, with a beautiful view of the ocean (long sands beach). The service has always been wonderful, such friendly caring staff! I’m gluten free and they have gluten free pasta with a number of different homemade sauces I can eat! I love this place!

Restaurant used to be good before covid, but now the sauce taste like Ragu. Doesn’t taste homemade like it used to. Plus the owner is very rude. Won’t be returning. My wife had to return her meal it was that bad.

We have dined at Mimmo’s for over 30 years! Guess we love this Italian restaurant! Great menu selection offering generous portions of Chef Mimmo’s original recipes. We look forward to our annual visit next year. Wishing the staff all the best!

We heard some great things about this place unfortunately when we went it was closed. We only saw a sign stating in the window their days where Wednesday/ Sat or Sunday. They don’t have a web page so there was no other indication of service. When my family of four walked to the restraunt on on last night excited to eat we were greeted with a condesending “do you have a reservation?” The restraunt itself didn’t have many patrons but still we were denied seating. I am fine with reservation only but PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STATE IT SOMEWHERE! We left unhappy and a bit confused. The woman who informed us was super passive agressive and nasty. I will be telling everyone I know not to dine there. I guess I’ll stick to my Nono’s authentic Italian cuisine. DO BETTER MIMMO’S!

An absolutely lovely family run Italian restaurant in York, Maine. The food was so delicious and lovingly prepared and served. The garlic bread crispy and chewy and delicious. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent. Try their homemade lemonade!

This has to be one of my favorite restaurants in the US. Everything is handcrafted from scratch. Although they don’t hustle you out as most restaurants do, this restaurant is similar to one I visited in Italy in that regard, you sit and enjoy your dinner with friends or family. Since it has lovely décor and even though it may not be fancy, the food and service here are greater than they would be at other restaurants, as is the expectation of most customers. I’ll always come back here while I’m in York. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get a nice dinner.
