Great atmosphere. Fast service. Phenomenal food. Second time I’ve come here and the kids love the udon noodles with snow peas. The appetizers are large portions and the sushi rolls are big too. Only negative is parking isn’t that great. Everyone is nice welcoming you and saying goodbye and thank you when you leave. Excellent find. Will come back often.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have eaten at so many sushi places I have lost count. Most places are good but all the flavors seem similar….NOT at Minami! The food is amazing every time. I can say I have probably been there 20 or more times before and after renovations and they are consistently amazing. The staff knows us (and are friendly and efficient) and the owner is always quick to say hello and show us any new eats he dreaming up for that nights specials. This is one sushi place you don’t want to miss.

This place is reeaallyy good, their sushi tastes so fresh unlike I’ve ever tasted before! One thing I love about them I particularly is that have a very nice array of sake! Try the peach sake, unbelievably good!

Such a beautiful place with a great staff and excellent food. Every time I come in, whether for sit down or take out, I’m always satisfied. Bathrooms are always clean and the vibe of the whole place is elegant. My go-to sushi spot— I will travel to Massapequa just for the sushi here!

I always go to this place and it used to be one of my favorite the rolls came out fresh and full. Lately the quality of the food is not that great! Rolls are falling apart you can not even grab them and I mentioned something about the rolls and they said no problem they will take care of it. So I got the order today and rolls are even worst they are so little they put less stuff in roll and they are empty and stuff falling out from them and you can not grab it and its falling apart again!

Going to Mimami Japanese Restaurant ,you will be joyfully delighted with the absolute BEST Japanese food that you’ll ever have ! The Sushi and Sashimi are so fresh and prepared by the wonderful owner ,a “creative ,genious chef” who will AMAZE your taste buds. Try the Tuna Tartar or the fantastic Chelean Sea Bass. I only recently discovered these delious choices. Ive eaten at Minami many times and my goal is to enjoy each and every tasty item on John’s extensive menu. The peaceful atmosphere is complimented by Johns attentive staff. ANY need that you may have is immediately fulfilled with a warm smile,almost as if theyve read your mind. The prices are great and you will leave,wanting to return soon, bringing your family and friends to share in this wonderful restauant. I work in Manhattan but will some tines forego eating the entire day ,just to come here and fill my belly with only the most delicious treats my taste buds have EVER had the pleasure to experince !!
