My wife and I enjoyed an outstanding take-out meal this evening from Minato’s. The quality and taste of the meal was an excellent value for the price. Although we had to wait 45 minutes to pick-up our order after we called in, the quality and price were worth the wait for us.

I was so impressed with the quality and price of the sushi. Compared to some of the other sushi joints around here, I would say that this restaurant is one of the best, if not the best. We ordered three special rolls (Poke, Dragon, Volcano) and an Oyako Don for about $35. My only complaint was that I didn’t like the wasabi and ginger, however, not a reason to deduct a star.

So amazing! My father lived in Japan for a couple years, and I visited as a teenager, so to say I’ve eaten a lot of Japanese food, and eaten in a lot of Japanese restaurants in an understatement. Hands down, this is the best sushi roll I have had in the US! There is a wait, but it’s one lady cooking everything, and it is so worth it! The egg drop soup is thick, rich, and delicious! The sushi roll is wrapped properly and the cook on the rice and the crab in my Spider Roll was perfection! I appreciated the fact that she was willing to adjust the roll (removed avocado) to see to my needs. I can’t believe how low the prices are! I paid at least twice as much elsewhere recently, and there was no comparison! Minato was way more favorable! You HAVE to try this place!!

The best deal for sushi rolls. Everything is made to order and takes a while but everything is fresh so the wait time is worth it. Love that the hours are now 3-9 pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays!

OISHII (o-e-she) which is Japanese for delicious. That’s what you’ll be saying when you eat from this amazing gem of a restaraunt. It’s take-out only. No tables. The food is very good and very inexpensive. Reminds me of home when my mother made us wonderful dishes on those very special occasions. The sushi is fresh and tasty and the fried rice is delicious. If you like tofu then try Age Tofu. It’s kinda like a tofu soup with tasty broth.

She is the real MVP!! She was working alone while the phones were ringing off the hook. She made my order to perfection and was very Cautious of handling my food and having to answer the phones Simultaneously . She washed her hands over and over again to assure that she did not contaminate my food by having to touch other object like the phone and pens while taking orders. She was polite and although it was a bit of a wait, I was please! I would come back
