People (including the troop of omniprescent children) are a little friendlier than the stone cold wench who used to run it so, though the food is not quite as good, they keep the two stars. This despite the place being run down, unkempt, always looking as though it’s basically out of business which I predict it soon will be unless the rent has been waived during Covid.

We ordered Chinese food for the first time here this past New Year’s Eve. Every one of us (4 people) thought the food was incredibly delicious. We all ordered different dishes, didn’t have one complaint. Even the appetizers were great. So nice to find good Chinese food near Huntington. Also their delivery was fast, and an hour before the time listed. When I initially called them on the phone to ask what their hours for New Years..they couldn’t have been any nicer. I highly recommend this place!

Always delicious! Quick delivery or pick up. Nice to buy from a family business. We tried many places over the last 2 years and couldn’t find a good chinese food place in the Huntington Station & Elwood areas. Finally found Ming Star and this place won hands down!! So glad I can eat Chinese food again!

No matter what dish you order, Every dish taste fresh and it is cooked to perfection at an affordable price. Family owned and family run feels and taste as if they made it at home just for you. Highly recommend if your in the area or just driving by. Definitely worth the trip if the drive is out of your way. Stop by or order it on the go to have it picked up on your way to work or at home. First time I have eaten their food. At friends house and we ordered delivery ( they had ordered several times from ming star). The order was not completely correct and the chicken with cashews was too spicy for me. The menu does not state it is spicy at all. I spent $13.50 and could barely eat my food. Please tell customers when something is spicy but not noted on menu.
