This was some REALLY GOOD FOOD!! The chicken was HOT! The yams were seasoned to the T!! The two cinnamon sticks were definitely a bonus!!! The Mac and cheese…just yummm! We had to wait a little while for our food, however it was WELL worth the wait!

Customer service was great, she was very friendly and helpful! I got a 2 piece chicken and they through in a few extra pieces! Chicken was crispy and moist, love their unique flavor! I got a side of Mac and cheese which was also very good, I can skip the collard greens next time, wasn’t my preference in flavor but they weren’t bad either. Cornbread on point too! All together Food was definitely satisfying!

In a food court full of competition, Minnie Bell’s holds its own, serving delicious, piping hot soul food. Got the dark meat combo with mac & cheese and added a side of greens. The chicken was juicy, flavorful and crispy, made even better with the addition of hot sauce. The mac & cheese had an extra cheesy crust providing a contrasting bite to the soft pasta, and the greens were extraordinary with plenty of pot liquor. Even as a member of team savory cornbread, I found the sweet (honeyed?) cornbread delectable. No doubt I spent the day’s calories and then some, but it was worth it.

Fried Chicken is . You can taste the hot sauce and rosemary marinade in every delicious and juicy bite. White meat is juicy and the crisp on the skin is better than popeye’s. This is like Popeyes meets home cooked soulful grub at somebody’s house. Cornbread has a nice sweet flavor and is sufficiently moist and crumbly. Spiked drinks don’t hold back either. This is an obvious win and even better that it’s black owned. Hope she sticks around and is able to expand her empire back home to the Fillmore some day

Just got finished with eating here and it was so delicious. I had the two piece, Mac and Cheese and the sweet tea. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The cornbread had a wonderfully distinct taste and the Mac and cheese was some of the best I have ever had. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and come try it. You won’t regret it!
