Here’s what you need to know: the food is safe – enjoyable but the flavor’s won’t linger in your mind after a few days. However, what sets this place apart and makes for a 5 star experiment is the service and ambiance.

As a vegetarian, I appreciate that they go out of their way to accommodate. They brought me a customized grill vegetable plate. That was excellent. The Italian food and Neapolitan pizza is done like it is in Italy, very authentic and delicious. We prefer the outdoor dining option when the weather permits. My husband, who eats fish, enjoyed the halibut.

Definitely a solid 4 star competitor on the North Shore. Very nice accomplishment in turning an old filing station into a nice Italian ristorante.

First time here- absolutely wonderful experience. The staff in general was amazing, but especially our server, Frankie. The food was fresh and authentic. Will for sure be coming back! Cheers, Mino’s!

Fantastic meal at Mino’s. My girlfriend and I arrived shortly after 8pm and were warmly greeted at the front desk. Our server, Frankie was attentive, passionate about the menu, and patient with us as we decided what to order. He created a wonderful experience for us. Both the cocktail and wine lists are outstanding with lots of great options. Every single food dish we ordered (Polpette, Asparagi, Margherita Pizza, Half Roasted Chicken) were fantastic and had a strong emphasis on fresh, flavorful ingredients. We are absolutely coming back and recommending this restaurant to all of our friends!

My first visit to Mino and I have to say I surprised in a good way. If you come early there is no problem getting a table. I ordered the fried artichoke and mixed fried seafood which only had calamari and shrimp. The shrimp was little cold and overall it was ok. The artichoke could have been little less cooked but it was good. For dinner the risotto was ok and little to lemony but over all was good.

Worst meal I have had in many years. Flavorless, soggy and poorly presented. Risotto was certainly plentiful, yet bland, containing slimy mushrooms. I hoped for fresh Parmesan cheese in an Italian Restaurant; not the dry powdered version. We were served by a sweet girl, who deserved more than the one star I give this restaurant.

We had such a wonderful experience for our first time! The atmosphere was cozy, the service was great, and the food was phenomenal! My husband and I went with some of our family (including a toddler) and everyone was so accommodating. Already dreaming about the next time we go…so good!

Splendid cocktail offerings, but wines are costly… like everywhere. Food spot on, but why ANYONE thinks a restaurant’s capacity can be effectively doubled by al fresco dining without affecting overall experience must be an investor
