Mint is one of the best places on West Franklin street for Indian cuisine. We have been here before on several occasions both during a weekday or during weekend for buffet and ‘Mint’ maintains a good standards when it comes to the quality of food they serve. Weekend buffets are more special with on the spot ‘hot kadai’ for samosa chats or similar dishes and free champagne.

Honestly, the food was flavorful and tasty, but I can’t really give this place a better rating. Sadly, the slow, inattentive service significantly outweighed the food. Considering there are many delicious Indian restaurants to choose from in the triangle, I would have expected this place to be worthy of the price and location.

Very delicious food, and unlimited mimosas and food is a great deal for the price! All the dishes were delicious, and there was a large variety of options. We had a large party and they were very accommodating! Would recommend as a fun brunch!

Their goat Curry is perfect. The chefs special vegetables are delicious. So is the rice pudding.

No more lunch buffet even though the website list lunch buffet in a polished, modern setting. Terrible greeting at the door, It was a most disappointing experience for me.

Summary: This is the worst and most expensive Indian buffet I have eaten in the triangle area. Customer service is also the worst I have ever seen, not exaggerating a little bit. Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This used to be a great restaurant with a wonderful buffet. My visit today saddened me deeply. Every item on the buffet other than chicken Tikka masala and palak paneer was watered down to the consistency of soup. The rice was dry and there was only a few pieces of naan, so I grabbed one peice to save some for the other guests. The food tasted as it looked. Watered down. Here’s the thing. For a Saturday, rival game day at that, the restaurant should’ve been packed. Last year at this time it was. The food was much better and so was the service. I believe you’ve run of your customers. I definitely won’t be returning. If you can’t keep customers and you have to water down the food to keep it from burning on the buffet.. shut down the buffet. Plain and simple. I should have trusted my instinct and walked out when I noticed the restaurant was empty. Also there is no sanitation rating visible. I looked for it. Hope you guys can turn things around. You had a great restaurant at one point.
