The food was solid. I don’t remember what I ordered but you can see it from the pics. The service was mediocre. We waited awhile for the food to arrive, and it also didn’t all come out together so there was waiting in between. Not going to lie. The music is loud! But it’s festive. There was a live band when we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. They took requests and it was overall an experience. I wouldn’t necessarily go here on purpose, but if I was in the neighborhood I would try it again.

Waited 45 minutes for shrimp, 100% waste of money, the flavor was poor.

I was in the general area and looked at the reviews here; some said the food was good, but other things prevented them from getting a good review (mainly music volume and speed of service). I decided to give them a try anyway.

Island vibes inside & out. This place is the real deal. Been to both market & smoothie shops, and the quality here is consistent with them. Everything tastes fresh, and is prepared to order. The escovitched fish I got takes about 25 minutes to prepare, but it’s worth the wait. Fried just right, not overdone, with a generous helping of the sides. I picked rice & peas and ground provisions. The rice & peas were light, not mushy, and well-seasoned. The brown stew chicken is excellent. That gravy could make anything taste good! The chicken was fall off the bone tender, with a good portion size. Got a couple of sea moss & sorrel drinks to wash it all down. Left the place full & happy.

Amazing!!! The jerk chicken was perfect. The goat curry was spot on. I was nervous to try a new Jamaican spot, because I’ve had some not good experiences. My normal spot didn’t have jerk chicken so I thought let me take a chance. I saw a few good reviews on here and that was enough. I ordered and I will order again. This is my new spot. My picture of the goat curry wasn’t even half of the order! Money well spent.

This was my first visit I went to the juice spot thinking I was at the restaurant so I got a smoothie with seamoss it was good. I walked to the corner were the restaurant was. It’s a nice spot indoor and outdoor seating available. It was a little wait but I’m patient and it paid off. I ordered the oxtails with a beef patty I was very very please, also the customer service was great the young lady and father was very attentive as I waited. This is my new Jamaican spot for my juices and food. I loved family owned businesses

Great food and great vibes. We enjoyed dinner on their outdoor patio because the weather was quite nice that evening. The oxtail stew was well cooked, the curry goat fell off the bone, and the rice and peas were excellent. The plantains were a little dry but edible once mixed with the stew. My only issue was with the sound—I typically like loud music (especially reggae) but if it stops customers from getting what they want, maybe there is a way to direct the sound away from the cash register. Definitely going back!

The food is totally authentic and delicious. You receive your money worth with the portions. The plantains was cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed the island fried chicken and the sauce was so good I wanted to drink it.

Looked crazy. Jerk chicken was ok but those rice and peas were UNDERCOOKED as hell. And I ordered extra. I had to recook it. It also had basically no flavor. It was a rush job. When I called they didn’t have any when I got there they didn’t but they eneded up making more. The presentation was trash. And the cabbage was kinda sour. They were out of basically everything. Don’t think I’ll be back again.

Negative Zero!!! Sat there with my daughter for 30 minutes, while the waitress rolled her eyes, told us to give her a second. Finally when the two women where next, she as a typical ABW Rolled her eyes in disgust, like we were bothering her. It so sad that this is rudness is a running and concurrent theme with US. I don’t care how good the food may be, give me a pleasant attitude anytime. Absolutely disgusting!!!!! We walked out. Demonic energy.
